Great room. Beds are really good. Breakfast served in front of the room. Not huge but enough for us. Nice location and close to Corte and mountains. Definitely would go there again. Owner is a nice guy. Speaks fluently english.

A wonderful place to spend a few nights, with a great host in Cyril. Breakfast on your own little terrace is a nice touch. The rooms are really nice inside, and have everything you need, including a kitchenette. Parking is not a problem as suggested in some reviews - simply unload in his small paring area, and then park 100 metres back along the track in a communal parking area. I would recommend the Auberge Casa Mathea for your evening meal - ask Cyril how to get there.

Located in the tiny, tiny village Riverstora (just drive down the road after or before the café in the middle of the village, at the D40). Different small chalets in the green with free (rather small) parking and good functioning WIFI. Our nice room in warm colors had a comfy 180 bed, a single bed which could also serve as a sofa/day bed, small table with 2 small chairs, airco, fridge, 2 electric stoves, microwave and kitchen (simple, sufficient, only new pots are needed). Bathroom with a nice shower, washing basin and toilet. All nicely decorated and maintained. Outside a small terrace with a table and 2 chairs. A bonus was the nice breakfast served. A lovely, very quite place for wonderful hours relaxing.

The accommodation is a short drive away from Corte but was quite difficult to find, but once we arrived there it was a good experience. The village Riventosa is very picturesque and the accomodation is in a lovely setting.

Its effectively like a cabin, and had a warm and cosy setting - the guy who owns the place Cedric was very friendly and was very helpful.

Positives
- Breakfast was good - continental style and fairly basic (croissants, yoghurt, orange juice and hot drink. Did the job for us!

There were a few negative points:-

- Air conditioning was faulty and switched off suddenly during the night and then a warning light appears on the device - which was so bright it was quite hard to sleep with it on - so in the end had to unplug it!
- Car parking was a squeeze and I was driving a Peugeot 108. If you find it difficult to park or have a large car - then you may struggle!
-Wifi - the signal was not strong and in order to use it you will have to be outside the cabin. Not ideal!
-Fairly dark in the room - not enough lighting!
