“Fantastic!”
Reviewed 27 July 2017 for a stay in May 2017

What a super place to stay for a family and a fantastic location. Coldingham Bay is close by with its lovely beach for the children and St Abbs a short walk away with its coffee for us adults. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable time away from home, extremely well equipped, clean and plenty of space. Emma is very welcoming and the children loved the surrounding gardens and quiet countryside. We had a fantastic half term break at Fairlaw and would very much love to come back again.

“A Happy New Year indeed!”
Reviewed 18 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Brought the New Year in at this lovely spacious cottage, away from it all. Loved the bedrooms downstairs with living space above. Think this helps keep the bedrooms cooler than upstairs which can gets really toastie!!. There is no Wi-Fi but the teenagers seemed happy enough with 4G and were even persuade to play games, do jigsaws and engage in conversation!!
You feel like you are miles away from anywhere but only a few from the beach at Coldingham Bay and the fantastic coastline. I would like to try it out in the summer months
One tip would be to find Emma's contact no. on her website and book through her directly as you will get a better deal

“Great cottage, great location”
Reviewed 28 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Spacious, clean cottage in lovely surroundings, and close to St Abb's, Coldingham, Berwick Upon Tweed. Two bathrooms and another toilet were great for a group of friends sharing. Spacious living areas upstairs, with well equipped kitchen. Lovely garden to sit out in or for children to play. Ample parking. The Craw Inn within 15 minutes walking distance does lovely food and a good selection of beers and wines.(Take a torch if going at night).
No Wi-Fi, but that's probably a good thing so you can enjoy the peace and quiet.
Very friendly owner.

“Really lovely spacious cottage with friendly owner.”
Reviewed 30 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Garden Cottage is a lovely cottage and was perfect for our stay.

The location was fantastic as it allowed us to visit the superb Coldingham beach very regularly as well as being close to Berwick and other local attractions and very handy for a visit to Edinburgh.

Would definitely stay again next time we venutre up this way!
