A holiday park,,, well not exactly, more like a farmer had some spare land and decided to try the tourist game.

It sells itself as a park with a woodland walk,,, they dont mention the open sewage pools you have to walk past on your way to the woodland nor the random dumping of tyres throughout, oh yeah and there is a scrap yard too to contend with.

The animal farm is interesting, a few rabbits and turkeys knocking around and some cows and sheep also on show not like you dont see these majestic creatures in just every field like.

Facilities wise it was ok, decent enough showers and toilets, it has a arcade to attract the teenage hords and a play park which my daughter did enjoy i must admit. Definately it wouldnt be a place to spend serious amounts of time, more like a one night stop over or base for a couple of days to see lower lough erne, we were generally disappointed though,

No instructions were heating controls are and how to use them. Dirty plates & cultery.

The bunk beds for the children are terrible, you could hear them moving and creaking from a distance.

Literally nothing in the kitchen at all for cleaning up after your self. I’ve stayed in many self catering places and there is kitchen spray and kitchen roll or cloths to wipe down the table / counter top.

Signs for dogs to be on lead and no fouling. That doesn’t include the owner of the park, the 2 dogs are roaming about and fouling in front of the lodges, caravans and peeing on your vehicle wheels.

Stayed at this site at the end of August for 3 nights, unfortuantly it also happened to be two of the wettest days of the summer!!

The site itself is spotless, staff very friendly, shower and toilet facilities were excellent. There is a play park for the kids and plenty of places to walk around the lakes and farm animals.

If I was renting or towing a caravan I would have no hesitation coming back here but unfortuantly the pitches aren't great for tents.

Firstly the pitches are all on a slight incline which is not ideal, when sleeping it was noticeable. The pitch we had was just about long enough for our 6 man tent (4m long) but if we had a porch added, the pitch would have been too small - the last couple of feet of the pitch had stones under the grass which made it hard to peg in. (not sure if there were bigger pitches) While there were lovely views over the countryside from the ptich, this meant the tent was quite exposed to the wind as there was no natural wind breaks, I also prefer to have some trees at pitch to give us a chance to cook under when it is raining.

Stayed here for a couple of nights when in the area for a concert. Facilities spotless and owners very welcoming. Beautiful location with well spaced pitches for touring caravans. A range of lodges and pods are also available for hire . All in all nice relaxing stay
