“Excellent stay in unspoiled France”
Reviewed 5 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We as a family stayed here with our friends in August this year and had a truly brilliant time. When you book a holiday, especially when children are involved, you so need it to be everything you want it to be. Admittedly, if you are looking for a busy and dynamic place to stay, then this is not for you, but if you are looking for a quiet time in beautiful rural France, then this is so the right place. We joined our friends and found ourselves immediately relaxing and catching up with one another over a glass of wine or two and enjoying a nice meal together. We were delighted with our gite which was both spacious and inviting and had two amazing power showers which was perfect considering how hot it was. There was everything you needed, including a perfectly equipped kitchen and a delightful welcome pack. There were plenty of sunbeds outside each gite, a large table to enjoy meals together and across the play area, a beautifully kept swimming pool with 2 little pools for young children. In the pool area, Tim the owner, had also installed a fridge and and BBQ and electrics to play music. The surrounding area was so beautiful with fields of sunflowers and roads with very little traffic and the local town 10 mins away. We so enjoyed getting away from the business of everyday life and were able to completely wind down. Our friends were able to take their dog which can often be a problem when you go away, but even he was totally relaxed, enjoying moments of running around with the owners dogs. Tim the owner, is one of the nicest people you can meet and did everything he could to make us welcome, swinging by each day and checking that we were OK. I have already gone back to work to tell my colleagues about this place and we are already making plans for next year. Thank you Tim

“Beautiful French gite hideaway”

We stayed at Le Grange for 2 weeks in August. Blisteringly hot in an amazingly beautiful part of France. The house is old, beamed and quirky and cool in the heat.Mod cons are all there with amazingly powerful showers and good sized bathrooms. Tim the owner is amazingly generous with a lovely welcome pack and nearby if you need anything. The pool area is lovely and with a choice of 3 depths, caters for all family ages.Would recommend this to anyone who loves being away from it all, countryside and beautiful surrounding walks in sunflower fields around the hamlet

I loved having you all at Chez Daviaud and am glad you had a good time - especially Jefferson, my first canine visitor (I think my two dogs are missing him already)
