We arrived on a very miserable stormy October night and were warmly welcomed by this cosy cottage in the peaceful village of Llanrhian. The wood burner in the lounge/diner really put out some heat and quickly made us feel very much at home. Location-wise this is perfect for what we came to enjoy - walking the coast path and visiting the local pubs (like the charming 'The Sloop'). We made full use of the well equipped kitchen including making a meal with the slow cooker.
The board games were much appreciated as was the ample information provided about the local area. We will definitely be coming again for a longer break. Thanks for a lovely holiday Bwthyn Graig.
We enjoyed our week in this lovely cottage. We had a peaceful week with everything you would need. The cottage is easy to access and is central for visiting. We particularly enjoyed visiting Saint David’s and Tenby with our dog. Plenty of games, and books and a TV for chilling after a busy day exploring. We would recommend this cottage for anyone wanting a quiet week in stunning Pembrokeshire.
This is a lovely spot in a very quite little hamlet close to Porthgain, home of The Sloop Pub and The Shed fish and chip restaurant (both excellent). Everything you might want is in the cottage - games, books, maps, cooking stuff. The garden is small and lovely and can let dogs roam free in there. Rooks in the trees across the road can be a bit noisy at times but didn't stop us sleeping. Loads of lovely walks close by, and St David's is only a few minutes drive.
This was a good option for a place near the beach. It was close enough to the coast for quick drives, and close to some great villages. The kitchen is small but efficient, and the family room is quite charming. The only negatives... 1) it's close to the road, so it's not as quiet as we hoped, and 2) the beds are hard, and you can feel the springs (so not comfy). But if those things don't matter to you, then it will be a perfect place to stay.
