“Fantastic cottage”

We have been coming here for a few years now and never get tired of the tranquility and great location. The cottage sleeps 6 and has a useful layout with a well equipped kitchen. The view from the well tended garden is fab and looks out over the estuary. The cottage is clean and well cared for. There is a dishwasher and the garage has a washing machine and drying stand. There is a BBQ available to use. Parking is for 2 cars easily or 3 is possible (we have been here with 3 cars before)

The cottage is ideal for children as the garden is safe and the property is located in a quiet cul-de-sac. A covered area outside the door is great as it allows a BBQ even when the weather is inclement.

Poppit sands is a quiet and clean beach 5 minutes drive away. There is a bus but we haven't used that. Waves are small and the beach is of a shallow angle - this is ideal for body boarding with little children.

On the way to poppit sands is a small jetty, just past the Ferry Inn pub, and crabs can be caught there which is great for the children. There is also a playing field and children's play park which is located next to the Teifi Netpool in (there is a free car park).

There is a village shop and a market on a Tuesday morning in the grounds of the village Abbey (ruin), which also hosts a cafe.
