So grateful for a calm sea after the raging Atlantic took a young tourist's life only a month ago.

Not a lot of room to park. We found some black post/pile on's one the south side of the bridge heading south to park. Wear thick soles or strong shoes. The ground is very rough but sturdy.

It is worth the drive. Loved getting to see both the Atlantic and Caribbean. It is absolutely beautiful.

We passed the bridge on our drive up to Harbour Island and took a quick photo stop. It is beautiful indeed but other than being a narrow part of the road with different colors of water on two sides it is not much.
Due to bad weather the road was somewhat damaged so drive with care. In fact the road had been closed for about a week due to this. Also, the water splashes over the road so passengers in open cars can get wet. If you step out be aware of big waves. Mother nature should not be played with.

A must see if you visit Eluthera. To stand on a small bridge and see the active dark blue ocean on one side and the calm turquoise waters of the sea on the other is a beautiful and unique experience. Be aware that there is not a glass window to see.

We drove from our house for the week in Rock Sound to catch the water taxi to Harbour Island for the day (well worth it in our opinion) and crossed over the bridge here on the way (it’s about 15 minutes outside of the taxi to HI). Please know that storms have washed the area out and they’ve rebuilt along the way so it’s perfectly safe but it’s narrow and you need to drive SLOWLY as traffic goes both ways across the bridge. I would definitely avoid doing this after dark. Take a few minutes though to pull over on the shoulder and check it out. Pretty breathtaking stuff.
