We had a good time but it did cost quite a bit, especially the food. The beach was a good hike away and the resort was a lot of walking. The bathtubs in the West Tower were too tall to be comfortable and the drawer pulls hurt your fingers when opening drawers or doors to cabinets. Everything was beautiful there and we actually won money at the slots in the Casino. Pillows were terrible.

I treated by daughter to a trip before she starts college in the fall. She asked for a beach destination and because of the travel warnings to Mexico - I decided not to go there and to take her somewhere neither of us have traveled so that we could share the first-time experience together.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel with the welcoming staff and a welcome drink - we were in awe. The hotel is new and just simply beautiful! We were upgraded to a balcony room on the 18th floor of the east tower. It was perfectly appointed and our bed faced the ocean. We loved waking up each morning looking out the window at the spectacular view.

We had lunch and dinner at nearly every one of the hotel restaurants and we were consistently impressed with the quality and service. Dinners were about $200 on average including drinks, and lunches were about $80. Two drinks at the pool bar would average about $36.

The pools were beautiful and we never went to the same one twice.

The only disappointing moment of the trip was on the last day. We decided to take the boat over to the Balmoral Island to snorkel and really there weren't any places to snorkel. We were warned to stay on the beach side of the buoys, in water that was no deeper than knee deep. There's nothing to do on the island that you can't do at Baha Mar. We returned on the boat as soon as it arrived - luckily it returns every hour. That was a waste of our precious time. Other than that, every single other aspect of the stay was incredible.

We even enjoyed the casino and came home winning!

Highly suggest! If you're on a tight budget, this may not be the place, but if you want to spoil yourself - this is definitely the place!

Fiance and I stayed here for a week. Our experience was amazing with two other couples that also joined us with their kids. The place is very nice and new so there are very few negatives with the facility. We used just about every thing on site and no negatives stand out. We especially enjoyed the fitness and spa center which was very nice with nice staff. Club Bond is ok and for the most not very inviting or fun unless you have a table or bottle service. Almost everything in the resort is geared toward high class guest so be aware the costs are more than most resorts. I would say this is more of an adults place since the kids didn't have much to do in the evenings. The casino is centrally located and pretty much everything revolves around spending money there. The pools are very beautiful and the beach is very calm in this area since the resort did a great job building this area. The water activities were included and we had a great time using these throughout the day. The food I would say is better than most resorts but also more pricey. The resort is cashless so it was nice to be able to charge all to the room during the stay, you can also pay by card when dining. Fire show and fountain shows were ok and on schedule so you will always get a chance to catch one. The resort does offer a shuttle that goes from the Sandles resort to the Breezes resort. Other than that the only other transportation will be taxis or private car that can be billed to your room. Overall loved our relaxing time here, I would suggest more activities and schedules to be communicated better since there was not any different activities or shows like at other resorts we have stayed. There was a fashion show one nice but we didn't get any communication about it so we missed that. I must say the staff was nice but did poorly to inform us about all the different things to do. We had to figure most out on our own and using the tablet in the room is a must as most info is on there. I will say there was a security guard working nights by the name of Marvin Gordon who was kind enough to explain EVERYTHING from the history to the different things on site and even future plans. I noticed he enjoyed sharing his knowledge with others as well and in my opinion should be in customer experience staff. My advice, find someone who is willing to share info as the resort is very big, play the casino here if that is your thing since the staff is nice, the kids unfortunately will be bored from time to time watching TV in the room most evenings. Highly recommend this place for singles, couples, or gamblers. If you have families and alternate may be the way to go.

Beautiful hotel, attentive staff, amazing beach with ample equipment and ‘toys’. Never had to wait for paddle board, kayak, etc. Everything is expensive in the Bahamas with 15% gratuity and 12% tax on everything it adds up quickly. The resort is fairly close to airport but it doesn’t take long to get to the Fish Fry or the West Bay shopping district near the cruise ship docks.

I was somewhat disappointed with the food, at the resort I never had a meal that was good, only okay. I didn’t expect world class fare but I had hoped for better.

The biggest disappointment was in the availability of things. A frequent answer to requests was “We’re out of _______.” At different times they were out of soda, out of ice cream, out of the only gluten free menu option at a restaurant, out of hot chocolate, out of bread served with everyone else’s dinner, and amazingly they were out of wash cloths one day, but had some hand towels to use instead. I lost track of how many things they ran out of. Logistics can be difficult, and expensive, but if you are trying to make a statement with a new resort and win a reputation that brings people back year after year, please open up the operating budget enough to stop running out of so many things. They could be amazing, but just haven’t quite made it yet.

This hotel is gorgeous, in a great location and the people are friendly. We had a group of 12 and it was surprising that they weren't set up to accommodate us in terms of food service. Either we couldn't sit together or we could and it took forever to get a drink order taken let alone served. Food was tasty, but slow especially in 3 Tides. I say smaller groups would fare best.
