Stayed here with 13 year old son cycling the Taff Trail. Staff were friendly and helpful, unphased by our muddy and wet appearance! Room was very comfortable, had everything we needed.

Restaurant was great - friendly, good food, great value. Breakfast was particularly good. Highly recommended!

This Premier inn is perfect. Location, room quality cleanness ,friendly staff.. Perfect as usual.
All was smooth, excellent sleeping quality marvellous beds.
One tip: chose upper floor if you can as you can hear every step the guests upstairs take since the floor is wooden and it squeaks with every step.

Premier Inn here provides clean quite rooms at a good price. The staff on reception are helpful and friendly. Convenient for the Orbit Centre and some colleagues came and joined us here for breakfast as it was better than their accommodation next to the Orbit centre. The breakfast was very good with excellent bacon. It was served at the table which makes a change from the buffet approach. Service was quite quick, the buffet was there for continental breakfast and cereals etc which you could have whilst your cooked breakfast was being freshly prepared
Decoration is looking a little tired and could do with some renovation although it is kept clean. Wifi was priced reasonably for a 5 day voucher at £10 and was reasonably fast and stable. There was sufficient working space in the bedroom to keep up with work during the stay.
The adjoining Table Table restaurant served good food and the beer was also in good condition. Staff here were also friendly and helpful. The menu however was quite basic in choice and over the 5 nights I stayed there items on the agenda were not available even with the introduction of their new winter menu.
I would stay here again if in the area.

Room Tip: ask for an even numbered room further from road

Typical Premier Inn with very friendly and helpful staff. A great base for touring the Brecon Beacons. Only downside was the Table Table restaurant. We stayed for four nights but there was never a full menu to choose from. On one occasion they even ran out of baked potatoes! Food was never particularly hot and portions were small.

Stayed here last year.

Have nothing negative to say about the Premier Inn itself, as it was what we normally expect of a Premier Inn.

The problems we had were in the restaurant.

Arrived in the restaurant for dinner and were told that there we NO draught beers whatsoever, and they only had one beer type that came in bottles only. The service was slack, with nobody seeming to know what they were doing.

The starter was okay, but both of our main meals seemed like they had been left under the heat bench far too long, which goes hand in hand with why they were late.

At this point we decided not to stay for any dessert, and to rather buy our own dessert in the Co-Operative supermarket next door. We then took it back to our room and enjoyed the rest of the evening that way.

My partner spoke to the manager about the service quality, and they agreed to refund the starters, but only after a stern talking to.

Breakfast okay as its all self service, but we will be dining out for dinner next time we stay.
