Thank you Leah and Scott for another great vacation at your property. (Our 6th with you !!!) The 3BR condo was awesome as always and we loved the recent upgrades! We think that Bolongo is one of the best areas to be located as it is so central to all of the island attractions. We would highly recommend your condo to all and can’t wait until we are able to return to visit again in 2018.

We rented a 2 bedroom condo next to the pool. We were 4 senior citizens and one has pysical impairments so minimun steps was important. Being able to walk out at ground level to the pool and beach was special and made it nice for other the couple.
Captain Scott was so great. We rented him and his boat for half a day to go swim with the sea turtles and visit a sunken ship. He has stories to tell about the palacial homes on the bluffs. Getting in and out of the boat with our man of 280 pounds who has difficulty walking and standing from a low position was made to be a most normal act by the ease with which Captain Scott helped. AND the mimosas where such a plus and a plate of fresh fruit. We felt really pampered.
The accommodations were very very clean and comfortable and I hope we can go back soon.

Room Tip: The nice thing about the condo, was having a kitchen and living room, and private patio. We were in a home setting

The Watergate Villas are awesome, but condo number 1610 is the best!

I have copied another review, but am in complete agreement and felt like the other review covered everything we would have said:

We couldn't have asked for a better condo. There is walk-out from the living room and one bedroom with large, sliding glass doors on to a 6’ wide covered patio with table and chairs. Then down a few private steps, and you are in the pool. The condo and pool have a perfect view of the ocean with the sandy beach just a few steps down from the pool area. The views across the pool and beach from the patio, living room or kitchen are fantastic. Snorkel gear, kids sand toys, coolers, radios and beach towels are included. The WIFI was great and we were able to watch Netflix at the end of evening, while winding down. I have attached a picture looking from the sliding glass doors.

The condo has really comfortable beds and nice living room furniture. We really liked the two-bedroom layout design. Separate bathrooms and showers for each bedroom. Nice electric range with quality pans and kitchen appliances (great ice crushing blender for cocktails and a drip coffee maker). A long kitchen counter faces outside so two people can sit on tall chairs and still have counter space. All this makes for a pleasant cooking experience. If you don’t want to cook, Iggies Beach Bar & Grill is a short 3-minute walk down the beach, and is a great open-air bar/restaurant. They have a very good selection for lunch and dinner at reasonable prices on the beach. Just past Iggies is the Bolongo Bay Resort, which is an open-air Lobster Grill. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And there is also a pool-side, ocean-side restaurant called Mims, which was great. (Thursday night was all you can eat shrimp!)

The Watergate Villa condo number 1610 is truly outstanding. There is a nice long 6’ wide covered patio to enjoy for breakfast or anytime of the day. As you walk out on the patio to your right and then down a few private steps, you are seconds away from the pool. While sitting pool side you have a perfect view of the ocean with the sandy beach just a few steps down from the pool area. The views across the pool and beach from the patio, living room or kitchen are fantastic. Snorkel gear, kids sand toys, coolers, radios and beach towels are included. We enjoyed the good WIFI signal that can reach poolside. I have attached a picture looking from the sliding glass doors.

Mike and Michelle have taken great measures to have high standards for their unit. On arrival everything was clean and tidy as we expected it to be. Mike emailed an info packet in advance which gives information about the unit. It also provides tips on beaches and restaurants for St. Thomas and St. John. We found the information very helpful. Their condo is called “Stay Play Vacay” and they are marked on Google maps. They have a web site, “stayplayvacay.com”. I really liked the communication. I never rented a condo before and you never know about scams. It was great to talk to Mike several times on the phone.

My wife and I would have breakfast at the condo and then either go out for a day of activities, or stay by the pool and relax. We would either make our own drinks, or get lunch or dinner with drinks at Iggies or the Lobster Grill. We loved the fact that the condo’s location was convenient and relaxing.

I still like this location on Balongo Bay. We were married 30 years ago on this Beach. Balongo is a nice bay where you can swim and snorkel. Our room showed some of it's age and could use a little maintenance but was still comfortable. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the balcony each day with my breakfast buddy a little bird.
There are 3 restaurants within walking distance. Mim's Seafood Bistro was just down stairs from us. Iggies Beach Bar & Grill just a block down the beach. Balongo bay resorts restaurant Lobster Grille is just past Iggies.
It is about 3 miles from the city of Charlotte Amalie and about 3 miles away from Red Hook and the ferry to St John.
