I booked this hotel for a one night stay before a flight the next day. Tired after 10 days vacationing in BVI we essentially wanted a clean roof over our heads - with a comfortable bed. That's what we got. Every establishment in the islands should get a review break at this time due the horrific storms they experienced. Our room was clean (the bathroom exceptional) and the bed comfortable. Some water stains and bulging seams in ceiling and no ceiling in the closet. Slider to patio gritty and hard to move. Obviously working on repairs throughout the building. Amazing how nice the outside vegetation was. Very nice, newly reopened, bar/restaurant down on the water.
Very short distance to airport but don't think about walking there with luggage. Take a cab. All in all I would stay there again under similar circumstances.

We booked a king Cottage with an ocean view. Got there at 3pm and a room was not available. We were allowed to store our things in an unsecure room behind a broken soda machine. Upon check in, we were give a room key to a room in the main bldg with double beds and no view. I told the agent at the desk and after a 30 min wait, where she helped other guests checking in and even offered one of them an upgrade to a cottage, she told me there were no more cottage left. I asked about a refund if I had to downgrade and she quoted 2 prices. I told her there were more options advertised on the web site to which she relied i was wrong. Finally she offered an “upgrade” to an ocean view villa and informed me that there would be no air condition. In addition to having no air condition, the water pressure was terrible, the safe did not lock, there was hair in the bed, and we had to sleep with the balcony door open (for ventilation) at the risk of anyone being able to walk right into the room while we were asleep. I called to request a fan and was told she would take one from another room but couldn’t bring it to our room. It seems they are in the midst of repair and will one day be great place to stay however that was not my experience.

We stayed one night at the Lindbergh the night before our flight home. We stayed primarily because of the short walk to the airport. St. Thomas has done a tremendous job of cleaning up after last year's hurricanes. But this hotel has a long way to go. I don't know its condition before the storms, but now it's in dire need of renovation. The staff was hospitable and helpful. There was no hot water. The air conditioning in our room was not very cool. The TV didn't work. The mattresses were very soft. The sliding glass door on to the balcony looked like it had been broken into at some point in the past. The restaurant and pool were damaged in the storms and will require major repairs. There was a shuttle to their "sister" hotel at Best Western Emerald Bay which we took advantage of. I'm sure the owners of the hotel have done repairs to bring it up to the state it is in, but I'm not sure it shouldn't be closed down and brought up to a better standard.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are still working very hard to get back to 100% after the two category 5 hurricanes that paid our island a visit late last year. We do hope you will stay with us again the next time you are visiting STT.

The only reason to book this hotel is for the short walk to the airport. Otherwise, there's no hot water in the rooms. Cumbersome walk/climb to the rooms. Pool still under repair. Restaurant/bar is closed. They advertise a free shuttle service to the sister hotel for their restaurant, but they don't have a dedicated shuttle. They just call a taxi service. It's free (except for tip), but takes a long time to get a ride.

Room Tip: Go to the Best Western Emerald Bay

Stayed here with another couple the last night of our Virgin Islands vacation. Overall, the place is rather rundown. Our rooms were OK though. Clean. Beautiful gardens and views, nice outdoor pool. Not much hot water. Onsite restaurant open on weekend only, free shuttle to "sister" resort with good restaurant. Airport is an easy walk, though, very convenient. Good value, would stay overnight again.
