Very beautiful resort. The front desk staff were very accommodating and friendly
It was very clean and accessible to everything you want to do, ferry rides to town, snorkeling , jet skiing and kayaking. My kids enjoyed our stay very much. The beach was just several steps outside lots of good restaurants also. I highly recommend it and we will surely go back in the future

Visited this location with the spouse and stayed 5 days, 4 nights. St. John Villa room 511 was a very nice size. This room was handicap accessible, furnished with a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, living area, and each room had there own balcony.
The bar and grill restaurant had great drinks. The food is small portions at the restaurant. However, they do have a buffet on some nights for $32/pp. The beach is accessible easily with plenty of lawn chairs and umbrellas.
There's a ocean dock with a ferry to take to go shopping downtown. We rented a car that we could park directly under our villa.

I didn't give 5 stars due to housekeeping issues. The room cleaning could be better. The lady that came to clean our room the first night rang the doorbell and just helped herself in, with no warning. All she did was change out the towels, sweep the carpet- yes sweep, not vacuum, and wrap the bedsheets over the bed. No housekeeping the other 3 days.

We checked in and got an awesome upgrade to a suite with a winding staircase. The amenities are on point and the staff was very helpful. The pools are very inviting. We enjoyed the sunrise on the beach.

Room Tip: Depends on what you like there are beach front rooms, there are garden view, miuntain view and ocean view rooms.

We attended the carnival in St Thomas and spent four days at The Morning Reef. It was a lovely property and the staff was very nice and helpful. You will definitely need a car at this location. The wifi very slow, but forget it and enjoy the fun,sun, and excitement of the area. The rooms are nice, not spectacular, but adequate. The grounds, pools, and other amenities are good. Overall a good stay. I would consider staying here again.

Hi,
We had another successful conference this May. We stay at this hotel every 3 years or so. There was some improvement in the service although more front desk staff would be helpful at check in for a large party of guests. The bellmen and cab service were great and always accommodating. I would recommend. AV staff were very helpful although the costs were expensive.
