Had dinner at Amalia Cafe tonight. We had the paella which was good but nothing to write home about. The homemade dessert was good but at $11 was overpriced. The evening was soured by the attitude of the waitress. Although we arrived an hour before closing, she seemed annoyed to have to work another table before her night needed
-- especially since we were not ordering liquor. She was clearly not happy to be working out table. She was abrupt in serving the food. We had to get someone else to refill our water glasses For the prices of the restaurant, I would not expect fast-food service.

Wonderful place to stop in and have dinner at the end of our week in St Thomas. Sangria was excellent and waitress anticipated our every desire. Tapas, highly recommend the scallop with an apple brandy cream sauce.
