On an island where Wahoo and fish are king, my husband was craving beef. To quote him: "Best NY strip steak I've had in a very long time...and cooked to perfection (med rare)". This was served with a gorgeous fresh arugula salad as the veggie side and homemade mashed potatoes, not milky and runny, the real deal. As a vegan, I was able to order off the menu which was wonderful. I had the gluten free (no egg) Thai noodle & veggie entree expecting it to be too salty and too oily just because it usually is...it was perfect! We saw the bread board appetizer being served with 3 different kinds of butter (garlic, honey, regular). It's a meal itself. Our Tito Gimlet cocktails were over the top. As we like them with a splash of of Triple Sec, something the restaurant doesn't have, the bartender came over to the table to explain how he would make them with a little orange zest, muddled lime, and a twist. I was doubtful that this would pass the taste test but our gimlets were awesome. The bathrooms are across the street from the restaurant in another restaurant- which was kind of interesting but the buildings are historically old and this proves to be a good solution. There is VERY limited seating- maybe 24 seats total. Must do reservations. They also provide take out. Highly recommend you give this a try! If we were staying another night, we would go back tonight.
