Like many other travellers I looked long and hard before choosing the Windsong - and must say that most of my hopes and expectations were fulfiiled. An initial perceived casual approach at reception was later seen to be a fairly healthy laid back approach to life in general and Ian and his team became an invaluable source of information (and an enjoyable evening of Karaoke!)Other Trippies can and have described the resort far better than I and I would just say that having experienced many other worldwide locations, the position of the Windsong takes some beating.
The attitude of the staff can make or break any hotel, and like most other visitors I would commend all the staff - with a particular mention to Charles who's interest in helping anyone and everyone (including his fellow staff members) was a joy to behold.Don't hesitate - book now!

I stalked TA for months prior to our final decision of where to stay and leading up to our departure from Chicago. We were not disappointed. My BF and I stayed in a one bedroom oceanfront for 6 nights. We immediately gasped as we walked into the room and saw how spacious, modern and clean the suite was. We truly enjoyed the hospitality of Yadley, Ian, Charles, Jerome and Samuel. Jo-Jo's breakfast was good and I fell in love with their grouper sandwich. We went to a few other places for dinner that were decent. The complimentary bike rentals were great and allowed us to go to the IGA for groceries and shop in Grace Bay. There were a few minor things that could have been better. Jo-Jo's ran out of conch which I thought was funny because it's native to TCI waters. Also, the DVD rental program was cool but a lot of the movies that were mentioned in the book were actually missing from the catalog. They could also do more with the Havana Room. It has the potential to be a great spot, but it hasn't been marketed properly. All in all, this was the best vacation ever!! Everyone was very nice and we can't wait to go back next year. Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing vacation Windsong!!

Room Tip: The ocean view room is everything that we all say it is. Get it!!!!

I did much research using TA and other online sites. We decided on the Windsong from all of the wonderful reviews and much are very accurate. The island is beautiful and the beaches are calm and welcoming. The oceanfront room IS well worth it - do spend the extra $$$ and get it. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! The room is huge with walk-in-closets, double sinks and a walk-in shower. The kitchen is very updated with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, 2 flat screen TV's. Not to mention the wrap around balcony that leads from the bedroom to the living room. The view is truly ocean front.
The staff is wonderful too. Ian at the front desk helped us with various requests and was always willing and polite. The staff at Jo-Jo's were great too: Samuel and RJ were so sweet. We looked forward to their greetings every morning. The complimentary breakfast is wonderful and at $3 for the addition of eggs, it was a steal.
All were wonderful but the highlight was Charles. From his polite and friendly demeanor to his warm and welcoming smile. He is a very good soul and wonderful man. On the beach, he served the Windsong guests with cold towels in the AM and sorbet in the PM.
The beaches off the Windsong were great too. Very calm and clean and the reef was great. All the Beaches people would walk down to snorkel.
There is a restaurant and bar called Somewhere that we visited often for food and drink. There was an evening band one night and it was beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.
We will be back T&C.....

Room Tip: Chose a corner room.

The Windsong was a great choice for out 10d trip to Provo. The location is great, between turtle cove and grace bay, and the free bikes were perfect for exploring the island. The snorkeling just outside the resort is fabulous: turtles, puffers, lionfish and an amazing array of brightly colored varieties. You can rent the equipment on-site which makes it very easy. The free am breakfast is great and Mike the GM and all the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The rooms are cool and the bed is amazing, slept better here than at home. A couple of tips: If you like core fusion type yoga and cardio classes, the Gansevort a quick 10m walk along the beach has a very reasonable $60 weekly pass for unlimited classes (2/day at 9a and 6p); the caicos bakery is awesome; Doug at Nautique sports gave us a great day on the boat, taking us to all the must-see beaches and water-skiing; if photo are needed for weddings, anniversaries, or family vacations check out Christine and James at www.MyParadisePhoto.com or if you just want to look through their on-line gallery of fabulous TCI landscapes for purchase as a memento of your trip.

Room Tip: Ask for the ocean-front rooms nearest the pool

My wife and I booked this resort after we had to cancel our honeymoon to Thailand earlier in the year due to the flooding in the regions we had planned to visit. Because of our work schedules, we were not able to take another trip for a few months. We booked the Windsong because of the great reviews we read on TA.

When we arrived, the front desk clerk, Ian, greeted us by name (which I thought was quite impressive as we had never met before. perhaps they have the flight timings/arrivals down pat here). He was very friendly and polite, and informed us that since we very early, they would have a room ready for us shortly. As it was technically our first trip, we decided to upgrade our room (at a very fair rate). Once we got to the room, we were blown away. The view was unparalleled, and the open air balcony/living room was amazing.

The front desk manager, Yardley was also very polite and made sure we had anything we liked during our stay. The night desk clerk, Almando was very informative and friendly as well. I have to say that I have no complaints at all about the staff. Mike, the resort manager also checked in with us a few times to make sure we were alright. Overall, the staff at the Windsong were nothing short of superb.

The complimentary breakfast was delicious, we started our morning out everyday (be sure to try the cherry danish, it was my favorite and comes from the Caicos Bakery).

The beach in front of the resort was picture perfect, and there was always seats and towels available. The resort is right on the reef, so it was great to be able to snorkel so conveniently. The resort rents scuba gear at a fair rate.

I would highly recommend this resort, for couples or families. We will be definitely be returning here in the near future!

Room Tip: Definitely get an ocean front room with a balcony, its so worth it.
