This was our second visit to Seaclusions and once again it didn't disappoint. The views overlooking Sandy Island and the Grenadines in the distance are probably the most spectacular of any we have had in the Caribbean. The owners and hosts, Bob and Marie, are very friendly and accommodating and offer great advise on where to go and what to do on the island (we rented a scooter that Bob arranged for us). The suites (there are two) offer an open bright atmosphere, are very clean/well kept are well stocked with all the cooking amenities needed for a vacation. Seaclusions is totally off the grid with electricity (including 110) being generated by solar and water collected from rain. Drinking water is provided and cold drinks are available. Meals can be arranged on site and we had two excellent meals with a local flair cooked by Marie who is a very accomplished cook. Seaclusions is somewhat isolated (what we were looking for) and located up a hill from the shore which is accessed by walking down a fairly steep slope on a well maintained trail with steps. A trail is marked along the shore to the various beaches including Paradise Beach where a few restaurants are located. The beaches are excellent and great snorkelling can be found. If you are looking for a relaxing and semi-remote location, like cooking some meals on your own, enjoy a little hiking, swimming and snorkelling - this is the place for you. Those that require, or are looking to walk right onto the beach and have easy access several restaurants may find the location too remote. We had a wonderful time at Seaclusions - and are very pleased we came back for a second time.

Room Tip: The corner room gets morning sun and shade in later afternoon. The other suite has more shelter from any rain and more shade.

We spent a week at Seaclusions Suites and it was wonderful. Bob and Marie really know how to take care of their guests and they have a very beautiful, well maintained, and extremely clean place. The view can't be beat. We definitely got our exercise in hiking to the beaches and bus stop. Bob has trails going to no less than 4 different beaches. Most all very secluded and one that has a few beach bars/restaurants on (Paradise Beach). You feel off the grid here with the solar power, rainwater supply, propane fridge & stove, etc. But you can still connect with free WiFi. Bob arranged for a tour for us and negotiated a great discount. We would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful, wonderful week! Seaclusion is everything that you read about in these reviews. This was my 2nd trip to Carriacou and my wife's first.

Seaclusion is an ideal spot for a couple looking to truly "be away". Bob and Marie are wonderful, supportive hosts. Apartments are spotless, well stocked and extremely comfortable. Seaclusion gives you direct access to beaches that you only see in pictures....we spent hours sitting, swimming, snorkeling on white and black sand beaches (great snorkeling at black sand beach) completely alone. Location is safe, we hiked and walked all over the area. We also decided to rent a car for the week and used it to explore and to go out for dinner a few times (there are a couple of very good places to eat on Carriacou; Bob also helped us coordinate the car rental). We cooked-in some meals, and went out for others. Marie is a wonderful chef, and she prepared a fantastic meal for us one evening, as well as a couple of great lunches.

Having a car there is a luxury, and not a necessity, as there is access to taxis, and the location is so beautiful, you might never want to leave! On our trip to Carriacou from the U.S., we over-nighted in Grenada at the Siesta Hotel (we ate breakfast there in the am). Bob helped us coordinate a taxi to meet us at the airport, and to drive us to the ferry in the morning. Bob also had a taxi waiting for us in Carriacou when the ferry arrived. Seaclusion is a very special place, and Bob and Marie are wonderful hosts. Enjoy PS: Wifi works great!

To adequately sum up Seaclusion I feel the need to start at the end, my wife actually shed a few tears as we left (I'm a big strong man so reckon it was just a bit of dust in my own eyes). This was due to a combination of things but the overriding factor was the wonderful hospitality of Bob & Marie. They know Carriacou (and beyond) inside & out, offer help & advice on just about anything you could imagine and cannot do enough to make your visit truly lovely. The interaction is all on your terms however, absolutely true to their word they will give guests complete privacy or be as attentive as you desire.

Carriacou is a beautiful, peaceful island and Seaclusion is the absolute pinnacle of that. We spent two weeks doing little more than marvelling at the view, listening to the sounds of nature, wandering down to one of the deserted beaches and, well, marvelling at the view a bit more. It was the complete opposite of what we would normally do while away, when travelling we love to explore, experience as much as possible of a place we've never seen before. Seaclusion made us stop, relax, reflect and take pleasure in the small things. Standing out on the terrace on New Years eve, looking at the starry sky, with only the sound of the sea & trees while fireflies circled around us was quite simply magical.

We were initially drawn to Seaclusion by the eco friendly promise, kept entertained by the knowledge & experience of our hosts, fed extremely well by Marie's wonderful cooking (who conjured up inventive vegetarian food on a daily basis) and could have happily stayed another two weeks. It was lovely!!

Room Tip: There's only two!

Besides the wonderful view, access to secluded beaches, gourmet meals on site by Marie, private deck, in a private area, the best part of Seaclusion has to be the owners!! Bob and Marie are such great hosts and always guided us to the best beaches, auto rental, and tour to take while on the island. You will fall in love with them and the island.
