“Lovely cottage in stunning location , highly recommended”
Reviewed 6 September 2013 for a stay in June 2013

We stayed at the cottage for a week in early June with our 2 young children aged 4 and 2. The property was v child friendly with stair gates, high chair and cot provided, all of a very high standard and they loved the bunk beds. There was lots of room and different areas to relax in the house , and this is the best holiday house we have stayed in. We enjoyed barbecues on the patio and playing in the large garden. The weather was lovely the first few days and we explored the local beaches, Whistling Sands is less than 10 mins away- amazing. When it rained later in the week there are plenty of castles to explore from Criccieth to Beuamaris and Carnaevon. If you enjoy good beer then the Purple Moose brewery in Porthmadog is a must. Aberdaron is a lovely village to explore with great fish and chips. We will definitely return now we ave found this gem. Simon and Irina are great hosts.

“A beautiful spacious cottage in a peaceful rural location, we will definately return.”
Reviewed 6 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

We stayed at Ysgubor Back for the May Bank Holiday weekend, 2 families of 4 with teenage children. The cottage is spacious with the conservatory giving an extra space to spread out. The cottage is beautifuly appointed and has all the equipment you need. The extra touches were great, I hate it when you arrive at a property and they haven't even left you salt and pepper... This property had provided enought tea, coffee, sugar, salt, dishwasher tablets and washing powder to get you started which was great, even if we had bought enough food to last a week. The selection of DVD's in the property was amazing, we didn't get to watch any as we were busy out exploring the areas beautiful beaches and costal paths but if it had been a rainy few days we would have been kept entertained and spoilt for choice. The pictures do not do the property justice, a really lovely place to 'get away from it all'. We would definately return if planning to visit this beautiful corner of Wales again.
