This once was one of our favorite harbor view restaurants with great food and nice sunsets. Tonight's visit was a disaster. They were out of most of the wines we wanted, out of Conch fritters, and the lemon drop Martini was disgusting. Asked the barmaid what she put in the drink and she said something I do know what. No a great start and it got worse. Two of us ordered steaks - of course they were out of the Porterhouse we wanted so they settled for a Filet and a Rib Eye both ordered Medium Well which both arrived RAW. The special was Fettuccini with Lobster and Shrimp which was an equal disaster with 2 little pieces of lobster and four small shrimp. Seriously at $32.95? We spoke with the lady manager and said we were leaving without eating anything but would pay for the Fettuccini as we ate some of it. She apologized and said the kitchen staff was being changed next week and did not charge us anything at all. She seemed sincere and we accepted her apologies and went to Casanova's just down he road for dinner.
We love the view and will probably return but they need to fix what is broken. Apparently the locals know as it was still empty as we drove by returning from Casanova's...

We have eaten all over the world. The pasta here was the lightest and most delicious we have had. Friends had recommended this place to us and told us that the ambience was ok but that the food was fabulous. We had breathtaking weather and a beautiful sunset on the veranda. A bottle of Italian wine and the evening could not have been better. Go there and ask for the owner. You will enjoy the experience!

View is great and the food is great. The service was just OK. Wasn't crowded at all when we went. The food is really really good!

La Dolce Vita has been our favorite restaurant on Grand Cayman. Terrific food and lovely location overlooking the ocean. This time location was still great but meal was mediocre at best. I had sea bass and my partner had snapper. Both were coked to perfection but sauce and accompanying meal was very bland. Maybe it was a one time event. We will give them one more try

I was craving real tomato sauce in a pasta dish. Have been away from that type of food for 6 weeks. Anyway, ordered a pasta dish. It was very good, but not the true tomato flavor I was looking for. The location was nice, right on the shore in Georgetown. Servers were very friendly. But expensive if you just want a plate of spaghetti. Most importantly...there was parking available! Many establishments downtown are lacking in the parking department so this is another nice feature, although it doesn't reflect on the food.
