“beautiful cottage un idillic surroundings”

This is the second stay at Ty'n Y Clawdd in Duffryn Ardudwy. Gill the owner is very friendly and helpful especially in suggesting local places to eat that are child and dog friendly. the cottage is spacious with everything you could want plus a huge rear garden. The bonus is its also a dog friendly cottage but also has the added amenity of kennels if you want them kept outside with their own garden area (ours is a homely dog so stayed with us inside). the cottage is located within walking distance of 2 pubs* (the furthest being the best about a 15 min walk). The village is also very close on foot (10 mins) but *no paths for half the journey and a very busy road. I'd suggest buggies are in order if taking younger ones. This part of Wales is glorious especially this time of year and we did a lot of walking, cycling, visiting local sites as well as nearby places such as Zip Worlds Bounce Below. there are castles in abundance and brilliant beaches which have sand for miles when the tide is out. So much to do here and sorry to be home. we didn't pay the extra for the hot tub on this occasion as didn't use it last time, so can't comment on quality.
thanks for another great week

“Superb cottage in a stunning location”

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location situated near wonderful beaches and other points of interest. Hot tub and log fire were amazing and warming on a cold winter's day! Very clean and spacious interior with superbly maintained outdoor space. Plenty of puzzles, games and videos to keep everyone occupied in the evenings, when not in the hot tub!

“PERFECT HOLIDAY COTTAGE.”

This was our third stay at this truly home from home cottage. We were pleased to see that it was as usual spotlessly clean, both inside and out, with everything we needed to enjoy your stay. We were able to use the hot tub this visit which was a great addition to the cottage. As usual we ran out of time to do all we had planned for our week, so we have booked two weeks next year! If you are considering staying here, then book it, as you will not be disappointed!

“Nice garden.”
Reviewed 1 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Booked cottage for 2 weeks but left 4 days early . Cottage was clean and reasonably equipped , the garden being its crowning glory . 3 low back settees are in lounge area felt at least 1 high back armchair would be an asset as would new mattress in twin bedroom . Main road runs a few feet from cottage front door hence constant road noise also no pavements , young children and pets beware !

Thank you for your review Mary.
Sorry your stay ended a little early, I know it was wet weather the second week of your stay. Glad you enjoyed the garden and the cottage. We do provide a beautiful big secure garden for young children and pets, all gates are padlocked with keys supplied to ensure this. Also plenty space for parking your cars at the side of the house. There is a map pin with an aerial view on our advert which shows visitors exactly where we are located. Enjoy the rest of the summer. Dave and Gill.

“Perfect retreat for the family”
Reviewed 4 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We had an amazing stay. Cottage was perfect for our kids with football goal and hot tub. My daughter was fascinated with the extensive collection of retro videos. Great location for activities- we managed to visit zip world, mountain bike, fly a kite on the local beach and relax in the hot tub! A wonderful long weekend for all the family.
