When we arrived for our meal, there was a restaurant full of patrons with no food. There was a table of 30 right next to us, and kids running all over the place. Despite the fact that the menu was upscale and expensive. Would not go back.

Delightful meal. Beautiful setting, which is basically a series of decks and rocks with water effects at several levels. The owners have clearly given thought to the ambience as well as the food. Good italian food, which seems an odd choice for the islands. All of us had various pasta dishes, and all were very good. Server was very funny and fun. Good choice if you want a nice setting away from the water or want a break from normal island food.

Food was good - not great. Portions satisfactory. Veggie lasagne was flavorful, but not quite hot enough temperature-wise. Lobster in the sauce & pasta was a little chewy. Steak was cooked perfectly and flavorful. We shared creme brûlée for dessert. It was delicious.

We having been coming to Virgin Gorda for over 10 years and the Rock is the most consistent place to dine in terms of food quality and service. William, Avril and Ninja are the best. We tend to eat at the bar but dining among the boulders or in the tree house makes for an unforgettable experience.

This lovely restaurant is basically decks built around and between beautiful rock formations. There are little man made pools and waterfalls. The coqui frogs sing all evening.

The food is mostly Italian. Our party had 3 different pasta entrees and I had the Mahi Mahi on veggies special. All wonderful. We tried all three offered desserts: fried Oreos, Choc mousse, and creme brûlée. Very good.

Attached to the Rock Cafe is a very new Treehouse cafe. Up stairs upon stairs, it has a beautiful view. There were three large tables inside and 4 tables for two on the deck around the outside. Different menu, this food can be ordered in up to 5 courses and is quite pricey ( my seafood entree was $56). It was very good food and wine. The view and experience are worth it!

Reservations needed for Treehouse, recommended for Rock.

Wear insect repellent in evening.
