“Delightful, but not our best meal on the island...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 February 2012

We dined at Biras Creek on a Tuesday to celebrate our anniversary. The views from the restaurant's hillside perch are lovely and the open air, candlelit dining room creates a wonderful ambiance. We had high expectations going in -- and, although it was certainly one of our best meals in Virgin Gorda, we didn't feel it was as good as what we had at Little Dix's Pavilion Restaurant. Don't get me wrong -- Biras was tasty, but at that price point, I would expect to be a little more blown away and rave about the meal the whole way home.

I also thought the service was a little spotty. There were too many servers and it got a little confusing as to who was handling what. At the same time, we had wanted a leisurely, relaxing dinner and the pace ended up feeling a little too rushed. We had a 7:00pm reservation and finished dessert at 8:45. At that point, we did rush to catch the 9:00 ferry back, not wanting to wait for the 10:00.

I think dinner at Biras Creek is a must on Virgin Gorda, but you may want to lower your expectations slightly. It may be overhyped and that leads to mild disappointment.

“Paradise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 January 2012

Swam in the oceanfront infinity pool and then hiked up the mountain via the Orchid trail which was followed by swinging in the ocean front hammocks with a perfect "painkiller" drink followed by a lovely meal at this Relais property. Quite pricey but worth it to experience this natural/organic resort. Well done!

“Enjoy the Luxury But don't miss out on the walking”

If you are a walker or runner (dirt road type) do not miss out on the roads and paths around Biras and over to Oil Nut Bay. What views!! What great exercise in the sun.

“Most Beautiful Place in the World!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 November 2011

My wife and I had our Honeymoon here and it was by far the most beautiful place we have ever seen in our entire lives. The food was spectacular, the staff was top notch, the environment was unlike nothing we have ever seen, and we are definitely going back for our 5 year anniversary. “Best kept secret on VG”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 August 2011

My wife and I stayed on Biras the week they opened back up for the season in October. What a great time to visit. The resort was just getting going and there were few guests - all which meant the service was exceptional. This was our third trip to the BVI and it ws by far the best trip and place we've been.

I could go on and on,but I'll say that the staff, management, service, accomodations, food, everything wAs outstanding. So much so that we're planning a return trip and bringing friends with us next year.
