My family of six dined here last night. We arrived without a reservation at 6:30 and were seated just in time for the sunset shot. Smooth was friendly at the bar, and Ninja was an efficient and pleasant server.
We had three appetizers to start: crab fritters, coconut shrimp, and ahí tuna. All were good, with the coconut shrimp being the highlight.
I had the special blackened mahi mahi. It was solidly good, but nothing special. My husband really enjoyed his Brazilian steak dish with chimichurri sauce. My son's hamburger was cooked perfectly medium-rare. My younger daughter (5) had totally plain pasta, and my older daughters split the vegan angel hair pasta and a salad, both of which they enjoyed.
As the restaurant filled up, the staff was stretched thin and the service became harried. We declined dessert at that point after watching the table next to us wait an eternity for theirs.
