4th time staying here. It is dated, but that is the worst thing you can say about it. The facility is VERY clean from head to toe. The pool is awesome. It is quiet. Very few children and in close vicinity to beach, town and airport. We will be back!

Room Tip: Ask for the bay view or you will be looking at the Medical Campus

Review from staying on 8th floor, 3 bedroom suite. This is my experience with this room, I can not say what the 1 bedroom or two bedroom are like.
Large main room - full kitchen, FOUR balconies. Two bedrooms and two balcony's upstairs.

While this little place is off the beaten path, it was clean and quiet for our stay. The property was clean, the internet worked (but was a bit slow) and the staff was very friendly. The pool area is well maintained, and so was the properly.

Cons: No instant beach access - you had to walk or drive a short way.
Pool towel exchange has very limited hours. They were always closed before 5pm! This left for a wet towel for large parts of the evening.
Laundry area is outside of the hotel

Pros:
It is very near an active late night area. Lots of bars, restaurants, casino's and nightlife.
Staff was excellent.
Everything worked in the hotel room, even if it was a bit dated.
AC was perfect!
Very near Maho beach

There is a small market close by that is well stocked (even if it is a tab bit pricey) and it is open late.

We would stay here again!

Room Tip: Three bedrooms are all located on the top floor (8th) with wraparound views.

We use this place as a "base camp" for our week vacation in St. Maarten. It is a almost bare-bones place. The AC works, which is a plus, a place to park the car, a pool for a quick dip, and a simple bar for a quick drink or two. We stayed in a one-bedroom where we planned our bkfst and lunch on the go and ate dinner out. It's similar to a small apartment building with a pool. The beach is a good 10-15 minute walk across the street where you look for the chair attendant. He will promptly remove you and your belongings at 4:45 PM to re-stock the chaise. My advise - judge St. Maarten by it's beaches, not by The Towers.

Quiet resort with wonderful employees. Landscaping is meticulous. Balcony views are breathtaking...the higher the better. There are 7 floors with 8th floor pent houses. Towers has studio, one, and two BR units. Unbelievably clean rooms and property. No restaurant except lunch at pool bar...thus few "outsiders" on the premises looking to eat. Pool is far superior and pristine. Ample chairs and umbrellas. Mullet Bay beach is 5 minute walk across the golf course. Mullet is considered, by many, to be the finest beach on the isle. Food and rest rooms there. Also, Towers provides free lounge chair service for Towers guests...but not umbrellas. Reserve a room on the fifth floor or above...with the room number ending in 04 thru 09. The premier (view) one bedroom is 707 (706 a close second) and the premiere studio is 708 (705 a close second). Views of parking lot and medical school should be avoided. ASK what your view will be when you book!! Nice is that Marigot is a 15 minute drive via Soundy Ground NOT via Simpson then Cole Bay. Getting to P-burg is a challenge via Simpson Bay and up over the scenic hill...but the southwestern location of The Towers is ideal for most all else...including Maho's nite life being 5 minutes max. away...right thru the golf course road and you're there. Porto Cupecoy, 5 minutes in the other direction has a well stocked grocery store...located just beyond the Blue Mall at the base of the hill. Its stocked with all the liquor, french bread and Guda you'll need, too. Get some Mah-Doo-Doo, get it, try it, you'll want to try all flavors !!! Highly recommend the Bananna Vanilla, a baguet w/ dutch (or Kiwi) demi-sel butter and Gouda for multiple evening hours on your amply spacious balcony. Just a great laid back place. Cheers !!!
