In July of 2019 we had our first experience of staying @ Belair. IT WAS THAT GOOD, we had to return again in December 5-12 2020. The ONLY disappointment we had was the Gingerbread Café was closed.. NO delicious food, no wonderful dinks and no Bradley or Rufus. COVID-19 had taken this from us. Now for the pluses.. Catherine Nichols, Pauline, and Beulal of the "front desk area" helped us navigate or dismay. Crystal @ Stalite car rental also went out of her way . Caring and helpful people all around. We found new places to eat (local's only) and had real food (not the fancy fake tourist stuff). The beach was kept immaculate, as usual, we had 4 lounges and 2 umbrellas to shade our bodies,.
The beach was not crowded even though the water was cooler (>82 degrees) than usual. . Had met a local last trip, who we've kept in touch with and she was able to spend some time with us on this visit.. Nice to have a local tour guide. We love this resort for it has just what we want or need to just enjoy life.

The on site market is a real find and the prices are not that much different than driving to Caffefore in a car, dealing with traffic and maniac drivers.

If I say too many good things about how wonderful this place is. it may be a lot more difficult to find "a room at the inn" for our next visit... We plan to return in July 2021.

Thanks

Bill and Patti

This charming hotel on an idyllic beach has every single thing you need. Comfortable condos, beautiful setting, amazing service, great people working here...I mean, really the best people. We ate amazing meals at the Gingerbread. Shrimp, lobster, steak, burgers, conch....everything tasted amazing. Bradley made great drinks and his joy was contagious. Vincent at the beach made sure we had reserved chairs and umbrellas for our while stay. Neelu’s mini-market had everything we needed, and she is the greatest. The pastries and baguettes from the French side were the best way to start each day. My family felt safe traveling in a very wary time. Masks worn when needed inside, and sanitizer everywhere. Belair was home during our holiday, and I hope to be back soon!

Hotel is cozy & quiet. All suites are waterfront with an excellent view. Great beach with powdered sand, enough umbrellas & chairs for all guests. Property is well-maintained & very clean. Nice mini-mart were you can find all you need, very friendly & helpful host. Staff is extremely polite & helpful. The only inconvenience was a little bit noisy air conditioner, but we get used to it after a first night.
Our company of 8 had a great time, and we definitely will consider coming back in a near future.

All 72 rooms in this timeshare hotel which was built back to the late seventies face the ocean whereas pricey resorts like Anse Marcal in the north don't have any rooms with sunset views. It also has it's own private beach and friendly staff that have worked there for years. Neelu who runs the onsite store was super friendly and so was Glenda who is the greeter and the ladies at the front desk and Germaine? who runs he activities desk. Despite the downturn in business, there are many staff maintaining the property and cleaning things and readying the beach chairs. My apartment was immaculate.
