Sat just at the edge of Soufriere beach, with a fantastic view of Petit Piton is Hummingbjrd Resort. Clad in decorative wooden statues and masks Hummingbird has the feel of a secret pirate cove, dark on the inside and hoarding old treasures. The food here was good, I would recommend the calamari or hot fish cakes to start as both were really tasty and the perfect portion size for a starter. The restaurant also offers salads and soups to start for vegetarian diners. For main I had the captains catch. Tuna or salt fish served with shrimp, rice, mash & vegetables, all very tasty and the tuna was cooked great. They don't call this place the Hummingbird resort for nothing, keep an eye out for the brightly coloured hummingbirds flying around the trees. A strong menu for a small town offering so many resort restaurants to choose from. It probably won't blow your mind, but it is worth a visit.
