Stayed here for 11 days. It was smaller than expected but that added to the charm. The main drawback is the lack of a beach - a pity when there are so many beaches in St Lucia. But we took a water taxi to nearby beaches, There are few shops and a limited amount of restaurants but we liked Chateau Mygo and the Hotel Capella has excellent facilities. Loved the super yachts. Loved climbing to the top of either side of the bay (above Doolittle's and near Julietta's - fantastic views. Used a good taxi driver: Anthony [1(768]7171739 or 7684515406 ] for a visit to the distillery and larger supermarket and airport transfers - excellent.

A bit of old and new movie history/stars are associated with this location. There were some HUGE Cats and Yachts to view. We can in by water for a look.

Breathtaking views and great boutique restaurants all over the bay. I recommend hiking around watching sunset from top and enjoying the many amazing villas all over. This was a trip to remember forever. The views are hard to forget.

We were on a Princess Cruise and went ashore in St. Lucia and took a taxi to Marigot Bay...we were brought to the edge of the area and had to take a water taxi to the "beach" which was nothing like described in the Princess daily newsletter. There was a very small beach and it was not very nice....and there were no public resttroom facilities that we could find (very small area) and the only restroom we could see could only be used by patrons of the restaurant so we bought some beer and ordered an appetizer....the service was unbelievably slow to get the onion rings and we kept asking for them as we needed to get back to the port and they still took their time and we finally asked them to pack it up to go. We were so disappointed in this "beach" as it had been described by Princess Lines as being beautiful, but none of us in our party of 6 liked anything about it.
