Took a group of coworker's for a business lunch. Everything was delicious. Chicken, steak and sea food, all on point. Service was pretty fast and very friendly. Coffee, also awesome. Will definitely be back for dinner and some wine. Two thumbs up!!

We tried out De Jesus based on Trip Advisor's list of the top 10 restaurants in Ponce. Well, the food was delicious and the service was good, but not outstanding. There was a lot of red snapper on the menu so we figured it was a specialty and ordered a whole 2 lb. one in garlic sauce to share. The flavor of the snapper was excellent and the meat was succulent. The only problem we had with it was the way that they cut it into 1-2 inch steaks before they cooked it, which cut all of the bones into little tiny fragments that were difficult to pull out. It was a serious choking hazard and resulted in our spitting a lot of bites out. We've ordered whole snapper in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Italy, and it has always been served whole so that you can just peel back the tail to de-bone it. I'm not sure why they cut it this way, but if you order it, watch out for the bones.

After a long drive from Rio Grande, we were ready for a cold drink. We asked, "How is your Sangria?" Our answer was that the city inspectors had just been by, a mere two hours earlier and closed their liquor department due to a nearby school. Bummer! Anyway we enjoyed the conch salad and the octopus salad. We also shared a crab empanada. We tried the Strawberry Frappe, which was much too sweet for me. A good lunch snack.
