We were no hotel guests but came to dinner at the perch. If you have the option to choose dining at the perch, you should do it. Nobody is there except candle lights, great food and an even better view over the ocean and the jungle. Chef Joe is cooking authentic Jamaican food with a daily menu. He just uses regional products. Make sure to be there in time for sunset and take a drink before dinner, it's amazing to stand on the balcony and watch the sun going down behind the mountains. Orlando, our waiter, was very courteous.

We had dinner here three times while staying in the hotel. The first time we were unlucky with choices (which are quite limited but different every day’s, but after that we did very well. But some prices are a bit cheeky. $18.95 for a quarter of a small smoked marlin pizza stuck in the gullet a bit. But the wine was good (house red recommended), and the environment and service are terrific.

Good food and daily varying menu which included veggie options. Perhaps a little overpriced. House Red and White wine reasonably priced and drinkable.

We went one evening for dinner and we enjoyed it. The menu is not extensice but everything is fresh and tasty. I had the vegetarian menu and it was really good, in particular a "vegetable curry" with coconut sauce (the only "oddity" from my point of view was to have a salad as a side to a vegetable curry and after a salad starter). My partner had the ribs and loved them. Wine was good as well.
We were the only guests so it felt personal and we got to chat with the owner, a nice lady indeed.
It is a bit expensive for what you get but I guess Jamaica is different from home.
