Love the island and the people, very friendly enough. Helpful. Good food, good weather very hilly. Shopping malls. Make sure you know your currency exchange and barter with the price. Jack iron and river rum nice but deadly watch your drinking hard stuff. Keep yourself hydrated.
Easy going Island people, crime is very low. Best island for no hassle for tourist. Unlike Jamaica.
We were at Raddisson Blu which should be all inclusive like Sandals but we manage to go Sandals a few times and enjoy facilities and entertainment. You must go to the falls very lush beautiful places and jump into the river, exhilarating day. We went concord falls. Great for photography buffs. We rented the catamaran for 7 of us had a fantastic time champagne lobster on Hog island great scenic route. Would I go again hell yes!!!!

Grand Anse Beach is typically Carribean with curving white sand shoreline and green mountain in the background, and blue warm waters. Since all beaches, including the ones with the starred hotels, are open to the public, this beach being popular with the locals, and being accessible easily, gets a little crowded on the weekends.

Grand Anse beach is beautiful soft white sand clear blue warm sea 2 miles long so plenty of room for everyone
No high rise hotels. Fresh drinks/snacks available from local vendors. Free car parking. Safe for swimming. Trees for shade. Peaceful. Relaxing. We live here and we love it.

Clear Caribbean Water ... White Sands ... Second best beach on the island ... Easiest beach to get to, though.

We stayed at Coyaba Beach, right in the middle of this long, beautiful beach. The and is soft, the water is clear and warm and we never tired of walking the whole length of the beach. Water sports are available, including scuba and waterskiing and there are some great bars along its length.
