Owner description: One of Grenada's most beautiful areas where a waterfall rushes down the mountainside into a large pool perfect for swimming.

First we hired Rondell from Best Deal Taxi Service to take us to see some sights in Grenada. He was awesome. He took us here and went with us on the path. We saw the monkeys and even swam at the falls. Trail was slippery and muddy but fun. Wear sneakers or water shoes that u don’t mind getting muddy. He also took us to other falls and grand etang as well. Even got to stop for chocolate and a local place for jerk chicken. Yummy Bestdealtaxigrenada@gmail.com for a very reasonable private tour.

If you are looking for a little adventure and some beautiful scenery this is for you. It is a moderate hike so wear hiking shoes or at least running shoes. I would highly recommend a guide. They show you the local flora and fauna as well as get you to the top of the seven sisters. If you can handle the additional hike go to the top and jump the falls all the way down. If not just relax at falls 1 and 2... it’s a wonderful 2-3 hours.

We enjoyed the walk and swim in the pools. Took the bus up from St George’s. Easy to do. As a bonus we did the zip line and the kids loved it, but even without this it was a lovely day out. Good outdoor bar at the top of the hill on the way back.

Moderately challenging hike through farms, through forest on steep stairs, and over a stream, till you come to beautiful waterfall where you can swim and enjoy the sound and sight of the water.

Took a tour here from the cruise, as we had minimal time in Grenada, we didn't want to try and figure this one out ourselves. As we're pretty accomplished hikers from the West Coast, steep and slippery isn't an issue for us. The hike itself was less than a couple km one way. Much of the rest of our tour though, was older and much less sure footed.
The steepness and slipperiness makes this a relatively significant hike, so if you're about to book a cruise tour and you're... older, seriously consider your level of fitness. (context, we are early 30s and can hike >25km a day, with full packs)

What spoiled the experience are all the locals trying to make a few bucks - from the guy who simply jumped off the falls, to the lady who wanted to wash my hiking shoes, everyone was looking for another handout.
Overall, a nice spot, but with some minor annoyances.

Thank Andrew R
