Owner description: Steeply sloping pinnacles and a cluster of coral and marine life make this a great dive.

Headed up the hill with little expectation but there was a lovely view from the top, as well as the ruins of an old small fort and cannon. Some more information would be beneficial but other wise it was a very pleasant day out.

It takes about 30 minutes from Rosseau to get here by public transportation or your own car. The climb to the top takes roughly 10 minutes, so it is an easy hike. The view is really awesome and I loved it. You don't need to stay here for long and 20 minutes should be sufficient. If you want to go snorkelling, there is a bay and a beach there. The beach is not that crowded so you might only see a handful of people.
I would definitely go back again.

Really worth the climb to the top. A bit a loose gravel/sand with the strong wind made the journey even more fun! The view was absolutely worth it.

After our cruise ship docked, we got a taxi to take us here for snorkeling. He stayed with the van while we were on the beach so it was nice knowing we wouldn't get left without a way back to the ship!!! We had our own equipment and glad we did. There may be somewhere to rent it in the fishing village close by but nothing is on the "beach". We were a bit concerned when we got there since there was no one else on the beach. Where we really at the right place? LOL Finally a local came by and did give us some pointers about where there was a drop off, to stay away from certain things etc. We did see a few other couples come and go in the 3 hours we were there so the place is mostly to yourself. We kept to the calm Caribbean side for being in the water. We saw a large variety of fish and the water was very clear ~ worth the drive from the cruise ship (we were charged $30/person with the taxi driver staying with us until we were ready to leave - he did seem a little annoyed we stayed so long but that was the deal before we left the port).

As others stated, we were approached by a local seeing if we wanted to buy and weed/local nuts/etc. We were polite and so was he with our lack of interest in what he had to offer.

Glad we went here!

A drive south along the coast from Roseau will get you to Scott's head. The view from the top is stunning and the beach there is really nice as well to cool down after the small hike.
