After having stayed at this Hotel previously I came with the family. At reservation the price given was incorrect and thus ended paying more for a weekend stay. For the money paid, the place is not up to par. No welcome drink anymore. Only breakfast included, which is limited. There is no entertainment, only one night which is friday night. The rooms although nice are not well maintained. Broken items etc.
For the amount of money per night they should have the place better maintained. No wonder it has a low occupancy. I will think twice before staying here again.

The place itself is nice. The grounds are very colourful and well kept - however, the accommodation not-so-much. The rooms are nice, but not kept to a good standard and the sight of cockroaches crawling out of the plug holes creeped me out.

The night reception guy was pleasant, but the daytime staff - don’t bother, as rudeness prevails. A polite request for an extra hour for checkout was met with ‘here, by 1pm - right!?!’ And a stern look of disapproval. A smile wouldn’t go amiss.

Pool is great, but be wary of the huge iguanas parading the area - they may surprise you next to the loungers!

This is a major project to restore the look and feel of historic Willamstad. The grounds are spacious and full of statues, sculpture, and gardens. Perhaps the ambitions exceeded the budget, or perhaps they haven't been able to attract enough business; the 'lounge' is not open nor is the 'nightclub'. The conference rooms look unused. And it seems understaffed.

Our room was a suite with a large living room filled with antique furniture. It was very comfortable, but up a steep stairway. The bathroom was modern but access to the bathtub/shower was awkward and probably dangerous.

The location is great: near the pontoon bridge and the Punda district, in the Otrobanda district. Many restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

All said, our experience was enjoyable - much better than in the big glass towers on the oceanfront. We would stay again.

Separate quaint structures dotted through winding paths. We upgraded to an oceanview suite with a patio. This was very comfortable and clean. The pool was enormous and all the food was very good. There was a free shuttle to town.

Room Tip: Ocean view was spectacular and bug free. The service was very good and the grounds are amazing. It is a distance from the airport.

I was there in february (2018). The place is beautiful and the atmosphere is good. The people are friendly and try to help us to solve some problems that happened. I received a room with maintenance problems in the bathroom. The hotel is too open and I had some security concerns. The is no guard at the back entrance of the hotel that close at 9 pm. I had to enter at other entrance far.
