My husband and I stayed for the 1st week in November. Very warm, even 80 at night. Stayed in a ground floor room in the Sun Club building and it was worth the upgrade..pool outside our door, free wifi, away from the noise of evening entertainment, etc. Room very well serviced and fridge filled each day. Our pool bartender Kenneth was such a pleasure, always a smile on his face and working very hard. We had no problem with beach towels or getting lounge chairs.
The Grille restaurant in our opinion was the best, Oceana seafood and the Japanese rest. were also fine. We did have an unpleasant evening at the Italian Restaurant on Tuesday - our drink order of a bloody mary and a glass of wine was taken right away but waited 30 min for the bloody mary and 40 min for the wine even though the wine bar was right next to our table and I had to ask 3 different servers. The food also was sub-par. We had breakfast on the veranda in front of the restaurant a few mornings and Ana was especially kind, bringing juice and coffee.
Snorkeling and a shore dive right in front of the resort was the highlight for us. Amazing coral, sponge and sea life....squid, lion fish, green moray eel plus a plethora of the most common caribbean fish. We would return to this resort just for this reason.More
