We stayed 8 nights at his hotel at were a bit disappointed.
The room was the cheapest one at approx 130 $ a night, it had no windows or natural light which was depressing.
It did have a safe, minibar and a iron and board.
Bed was ok, bathroom very old and not so nice.
The cafe in front of the hotel is quite nice, good for people-watching and having a drink or coffee at. But the local Salsa bands which are playing non-stop throughout the day can be very annoying with their tips collection. They get real annoyed if you don't tip. There is a rooftop bar wit more salsa bands in the evenings.
The staff at the hotel are quite unfriendly and not very interested in helping you out or providing speedy and efficient service, with the exception of our cleaner who was very good.
The breakfast is not very good, flies all over the fruits, I had scrambled eggs on toast 8 mornings in a row. The coffee is absolutely sh**, taste like muddy water.
They have a pianist with a tips bucket as well.More
