We have recently returned from our second stay at Little Arches and it was as just as good as we remembered. We don’t tend to return to the same place, but Little Arches is the exception as it a special place that we will happily return to again and again. What makes it special? In our opinion it’s the combination of comfortable accommodation and excellent customer service from Sandra, Emma and all of the team right through from front of house through to maintenance and housekeeping. The food and ambience in the restaurant above in Café Luna is equally good. The friendly, welcoming approach of all means you can instantly relax and enjoy the Bajan hospitality with lots of little touches that make the difference. Nothing is too much trouble and the team will book restaurants, organise transport and even take your sunbed and umbrella to the beach for you. Enterprise Beach has to be one of the nicest on the island, with a vast expanse of white sand that is never overcrowded. Thanks to all the team for another lovely stay and we look forward to visiting again soon.

Little Arches looks good on paper, but falls far short of expectations. That's a pity because Sandra and her staff try very hard to please and Cafe Luna, the upstairs restaurant, is quite OK.

Some of the disappointment comes from the fact that the property is not well maintained. The rooms are nice enough, but the outside areas are disappointing. One of the rooms has a patio that extends into the parking lot and the two oceanfront suites with plunge pools are not really private. Plus, Enterprise Beach Road, which runs in front on the hotel, is regularly trafficked by cars, motorcycles, and trucks. And, let's not forget the ongoing construction at the big hotel? or condominium? next door that is a continuing source of unwanted noise. Add to that stained covers on the lounges near the pool and on the curtains above the shaded area as well as a variety of dead plants throughout the area.

Is it all bad news? No, but folks who plan to stay there are best advised to select one of the lower-cost inside rooms. There's more space in the higher-end rooms, but the rest of the "benefits" aren't worth the extra cost.

If you still want to book, keep all of this in mind.

Room Tip: Inside garden rooms

We spent 10 days here recently, our room had air conditioning and we could see the beach from our patio, which had a plunge pool, A bottle of complementary champagne and rum cake, which was delicious was left for us. When we arrived we were greeted with cool towels and refreshing punch. The staff were really lovely - if you wanted sun loungers and umbrellas ask reception and they organised them to be taken to beach just a short walk away. The hotel restaurant serves really great food, Our negative comments are that the complementary breakfast, if staying 10 day’s or more, was a bit confusing as you could only choose fruit and cereal OR a hot breakfast - anything else you had to pay for ie special coffees and we felt that the cost of our room per night they should not penny pinch over breakfast. The hotel Restaurant is open to the public so not strictly adults only. Finally, there is a large hotel being built next door but one, so the noise and dust made it difficult to relax and sit out during the day. We hired a car and were very glad we did as we explored the lovely island.

Room Tip: Ours was one of two at front of hotel overlooking beach, which we liked as the other rooms were garden facing

My partner and I stayed in this hotel just before Christmas and loved it.

The room was beautiful- we stayed in one of the rooms with a Jacuzzi- it was very private and lovely. It was always beautifully cleaned and each evening a lovely lady (I think named Rosa?) brought round chocolates which was really nice. The bed was big and really comfy and the shower was also really good.

The staff are all very friendly, approachable and accommodating. They gave us a welcome bottle of rum and a welcome smoothie which was really nice and as there was some construction work going on next door (no biggie), they gave us some rum punch to take to the beach. When you go to the beach, one of the guys will take down beach chairs and an umbrella. The reception will also give you a cool pack of water bottles and fresh beach towels. They also put on a bus most days to other beaches nearby but we didn't do this as we liked the beach nearby.

The cocktail evening on Wednesday evenings was really nice and a good way to meet the other hotel guests.

We really liked being in an adults-only hotel with no screaming children (sorry, parents!!!).

Overall we loved our stay- only wish it could have been longer!! Thank you to everyone at Little Arches who made it so lovely. We will definitely return.
