Description: Sample our new menu, a fusion of Italian fare and our much loved timeless Lonestar classics. The lunchtime menu sees the introduction of pizzas from our woodfire oven sure to be a favourite with our younger customers as well as an array of mouth watering salads. Sunday lunch is still a must at the Lone Star.... Some things never change! Enjoy a rum sour at sunset or a post dinner glass of champagne at our new cocktail lounge. ALSO - Breakfast on the Boardwalk - enjoy your breakfast served right on the beach on our Boardwalk.

We (three of us in our early thirties) went to the lone star for lunch. The setting is very beautiful and we just loved the style of the restaurant - it's very beach-club cool. But still fairly small. All of us enjoyed our meal immensely - the food was fantastic, and cocktails and wine also great.

We got there around 1pm and had a long leisurely lunch followed by drinks on the beach watching the sunset, which was amazing. It was generally fab and I highly recommend for the setting and food.

The service was a different story. I was really disappointed as while the staff were polite, they were incredibly slow and not very attentive. It was hard to get a smile out of anyone really and just generally everything we asked for seemed like quite a chore. But maybe we were just unlucky and I would still definitely go back.

When you are staying at an all inclusive hotel, a meal out has to be good to be worth paying twice for !! This was.
Fantastic setting and classy all the way. The restaurant is beautifully presented and the service faultless. Food was top quality. Expensive relatively but we all felt worth it.

Staying around this place made our Barbados vacation one of the best. Most of the breakfast choices were good. Definitely not excellent as their egg and meat dishes could improve a lot and their fruit dishes would appeal more if they included tropical fruits like Papaya, Mango, and Sugar apples. Instead they gave melons, and berries which felt too American.

We had lunch on three days and tried most of the dishes and everything was excellent. Even the pizza was superb. Not the typical cheesy one's. The veggie one is extraordinary. Then, their Flying Fish sandwich which is served with salad and Potato salad was the delicious and filling. We also tried lot of their desserts every night and they were all yummy.

Then, the location!!! The beach it sits on is probably the best you can find anywhere in the world. Calm clear water that is warm and shore snorkeling just feet away and turtles can be seen too.

Can't wait to be back at this place many more times.

We had lunch at Lone Star and were blown away by the setting and proximity to the fabulous beach and waves. Relaxed , professional, varied menu and well prepared and presented food. We liked it so much that we went back for dinner - twice!
Cocktails to die for , can't remember what it was called but we loved the mojito with champagne? Service on the first evening visit was very, very slow. We booked for 8.30 , had a pre dinner drink but didn't get our main course until nearly 10.30pm which was a bit of a pain so we went earlier the following week and the timings were much better. A really lovely restaurant and SO much nicer than The Cliff if you're looking for somewhere a bit more special.

Not bad, not great, but fun and worth revisiting...except we couldn't. Service was some what strange. Pushed to order drinks and wine, but slow on ordering food. The food was very good however. We attempted to go back later after a horrible experience at Coral Reef they were either too full or too lazy to take us. I would bet on the later.
