Good place to grab a drink and relax on the beach. Situated right on the white sand beaches of Carlisle bay near to Bridgetown Pirate Cove offers drinks, food and loungers for relaxing in the sun (or shade). Unlike most of the facilities on the beach this does not require a check in, so no $20US surcharge to be allowed to buy from them.
There’s a wide selection of drinks available including cocktails, and sun loungers can be rented all day for $15BDs each. There is a lunch buffet available from the food court just inside and in the evening you can order more pub grub from the bar. If you’re there late afternoon just watch out as there is a grace period where no food is available.
A nice place to relax in the Caribbean sun.

Thank Matthew D

Pirates Cove is a nice, family friendly beach that is near the cruise ship port. The water is very pretty shades of blues and clean. The loungers are comfortable and come with a shared palapa. The bar provides good drinks that are reasonably priced. The only negative for us was the food. We are not buffet fans which is all they had to offer.

Beautiful white sand beach and crystal clear water. It's about a 40 min walk from the cruise ship terminal or a $10 taxi. There are showers and changing rooms, an outdoor bar and an inexpensive buffet lunch available inside. We signed up for the 1 1/2 hr snorkeling tour that leaves directly from the beach. Very quick boat ride to 2 snorkeling spots nearby. First one was to see turtles, and we did see several young ones, mostly feeding on the bottom. The second stop was over a shipwreck. Plenty of colorful fish to see swimming below and around you. They provide masks and vests, but not flippers (welcome to bring your own gear) and a free rum punch. Note that if you have mobility issues, it may be tough to board the boat as it bounces around the surf near the beach (the guides will help you get on). Cost for a lounge chair under a tiki umbrella, a welcome beverage (rum punch, beer or soda) and the snorkeling trip was only $30 USD pp. The staff at the facility and on the snorkeling ship were all very friendly and helpful.

We were on the Adventure of the Seas and decided to spend the day at a local beach. We walked to Pirates Cove from the port. It took less than a 1/2 hr and was easy along a boardwalk most of the way. Good way to get some exercise before sitting all day! Upon arrival, we paid for the package that included the turtle/shipwreck snorkel tour, chairs and umbrella and a drink. The snorkel tour was fun, but no turtles. However lots to see at the shipwreck. Our day at the beach was relaxing. Nobody harassed us, the music was fun but not loud. Food was okay and drinks were expensive, but we enjoyed our day before walking back to the ship.
