The Boat yard is like Miami, except you're in the Caribbean, no one is showing off and everyone is happy!

Although there is an entrance fee, it is redeemable at the restaurant & bar.

Really for the younger people, its a club at night .In the day time you can go on the beach.
At night entrance is inexpensive and on some nights some drinks included ,check the local press.

Beach bums, this is the place to be. Pay BDS$40 (which you use to cover food and drink up to that value - inflated prices, but what do you expect?!?) and you are given a wrist band which gives you free reign of the place - you can use the beach loungers and umbrellas, the tall beds with canopies, the climbing rig and trampoline in the water, the rope swing and high dive board off the pier. When you've had enough, use the shower facilities to wash the salt and sand off, then enjoy some food in the dining area before you head off.

I recently spent some days there with two sets of friends visiting from the UK in the last few months, and we had a great time. However, there were times when I left them to sun while I ran errands, and on occasion got there just as they had ordered food. The staff are very quick to ward you off if you don't have a wristband, even if you explain you are only there for collection, maybe a bit too fast. On one occasion, rather than myself and my 71 year old mother being able to sit and wait for them to finish, we had to go and sit in the hot car - a bit unnecessary.

The Boatyard is a very nice bar, we enjoyed it very much and the setting, straight on the beach makes me think about it as an all inclusive resort....

The que is sometimes long but mostly fluid.

lovely.

Great day out for all of the family. Gorgeous beach, water sports, food, drink and music. Bajan hospitality and music at its best. Very relaxing, informal and chilled. Take lots of sun screen and avoid days when the cruise ships are in if possible. We went twice during our holiday. Really recommend it. Watch out for beach volleyball - great fun.
