We both loved everything about the Royal Palms. Staff, gardens, location, food, wine.

I asked for lemon for tea one morning and they sent out for one for me. Kate on reception was great when I had to change our booking due to a bereavement. The package we had was good value. We stayed 3 nights with wine on arrival and transfers to & from the airport.
Would be happy to return to this hotel and that is unusual for me.

Room tip: We stayed in room 22 which was away from main hotel and we found it really quiet

Since retirement 20 years ago we have travelled to many countries around the world. This was our first visit to Bermuda and we were absolutely delighted with our choice of hotel. There was a very warm welcome, attention to every aspect of our comfort and always someone on hand to advise on any matter or just to chat.
All rooms are light and airy, bedrooms individually designed and with superbly comfortable beds.
A lovely conservatory style breakfast room (breakfast included)and two lounges where we met fellow guests each evening for a complimentary wine hour ( quality wine too)
The main restaurant, Ascots,is definitely fine dining and its advised to book in advance . There is also an informal dining room. We used both dinning arrangements and were greeted like old
friends each time.
A great place to stay if you want something different to a big typical multi storey hotel and only 10 min walk from Hamilton centre.

Difficult to beat for conviviality and comfort.
In a quiet suburb of Hamilton with just a 10 minute walk into town.
Given it's British heritage , Bermuda feels very much at home.
Lovely courteous people.

Room tip: We had a room overlooking the lovely gardens.

This was my second visit to Bermuda but my first to the Royal Palms. I was prompted to try it as a friend had made a reservation for a summer holiday visit, and the location in Hamilton was convenient. All my expectations were fulfilled, and more - comfortable and well-provided room, excellent breakfast, a good bar and a choice of dining options on-site in the evening. The early evening wine tasting session provided an opportunity to meet and befriend other guests, which enhanced the overall experience. Recommended, and I am eager to return.

A nice, small, hotel with friendly staff, and convenient to town, which is about a 10 minute walk away.

We had one of the larger rooms, which are separate in the grounds, and the on suite arrangement provided plenty of room. Good wi fi access.

Decent continental breakfast, with hot waffles and boiled eggs available.

I would have given it 5 stars, except the room always seemed damp, including the bed, even though they regularly changed the sheets. I presume this is because of the high humidity in Bermuda, but is something that did not clear up in the week we were there, despite having the air con on.
