Water is cristal clear blue, but the beach has no waves at all. It is a bit crowded and not a lot of space to walk on the beach

Palm beach is a long stretch of white sand and calm blue water on the west coast. The entry into the water is gradual making it good for kids. The water is sometimes murky with all the water motor- sport activity. There are 2 piers. I know one of them has a bar restaurant because I had the calamari there. This is a very busy beach lined with all the big name hotels. Beach chairs all over the beach sometimes right up to the water. There is a boardwalk at the top end near the hotels and you can walk and push a stroller. Many bars and restaurants along the boardwalk. I think the boardwalk starts at around the Divi Phoenix and goes to the end where the Ritz is. I have walked it a few times. If you are looking for jet skies, banana boats, lots of people and bars then this High Rise area is for you.

Beautiful fine white sand and blue green water. Water was not hot in December, but not cold either. Refreshing is the word. The Palm Beach in front of the Ritz Carlton is expansive and uncrowded and the hotel has attempted to retain an ample portion of the native divi divi tree cover which makes for an idyllic landscape. Great place to spend your days.

we stayed at the Hilton on Palm Beach. Gorgeous beach and beautiful clean clear water. Plenty of activities too at each hotel.
