We just returned from our honeymoon and had a wonderful stay at Bucuti. It is very clean, the staff are all outstanding, the beach is gorgeous and it is very romantic. The breakfast buffet that is included is very good. We had the romantic dinner on the beach and our server was excellent as was the food. Even though there are so many couples on their honeymoon, they make you feel special. There were always plenty of chairs on the beach and the service on the beach was always very quick. As advertised, Bucuti is VERY quiet. At times it was a little too quiet for us and we would have preferred some music at the pool or beach but we understand that relaxation is the goal and there are plenty of beach bars nearby if you want to hear some music or party a bit. Staff was always so helpful in getting us a taxi, especially Mario who actually chased one down for us one day! We had a couples massage which was fantastic and the Spanish Lagoon VIP cruise was so much fun.

Because it is a cash free resort, they were unable to make change for us and the gift shop rarely had change. This was the only issue we had as we only had bigger bills and wanted to tip at breakfast and elsewhere. So I would recommend bringing smaller bills with you.

If you are looking for quiet, relaxation and luxury, this is your place!

This was the most perfect place for our honeymoon. From the accommodations to the food to the service this is the best and most romantic place we've ever been. It's on the widest section of Eagle beach which if you've never been to Aruba even the sand is amazing. The service is second to none. Frank will meet you at the door when you arrive and make sure you never have to wait long for a taxi when you need it. The breakfast is amazing and the servers will take care of your every need, Jaun even will sing to you and let you know you are on "One Happy Island". The spa was a great experience for a couples massage that was so relaxing. It's a 5 minute walk to the Alahambra casino and market and restaurants next to it. Not much else to say except you must stay here if visiting Aruba. Maybe we'll see you there because we will be back for sure.

This was our second visit to Bucuti & Tara, our first stay in the suites. Our concierge was very thorough and thoughtful in our tour of the property and suite. She explained their green goals and processes, which we applaud. Bucuti provides guests with refillable metal water bottles to eliminate the use of plastic bottles. There were two water cooler stations at which the bottles could be refilled, and we did...often.

Once we were checked in, we headed down to the beach to the comfortable lounge chairs and umbrellas that were very welcoming. The Sand Bar has service to the chairs throughout the day; we only employed it once but the bucket of Balashi and Chill were quite refreshing, as was the fruit and cool towels that were passed along daily. The water in October is warm and inviting, especially for those of us coming from New England! We did enjoyed happy hour most afternoons for half-off beverages and snacks, plus complimentary bites of very interesting things - tuna wraps, chicken satay, ceviche, etc...Mojitos and daquiris are a welcome break in the day.

Breakfast is included in the Tara suites. The offerings are delicious and you can get waffles, omelets and Dutch pancakes made to order....the pancakes were delicious!! October is restaurant month and specials are offered at many restaurants for each meal. We had dinner at Elements one night and partook in the special three course offering...quite tasty and well prepared. We also enjoyed a thoughtfully prepared and delightfully delicious eight course, chef prepared meal at Senses. A culinary journey through several spots in the world was something to be remembered for a long time.

My husband did the Wednesday snorkeling tour that was for resort guests only (sadly, I was unable to go as you'll see below). He really had a wonderful time with great drinks, tasty food that was prepared by a chef who was brought on board. Fantastic snorkeling, a swing over the water that he did three times and a knowledgeable Captain made the experience special.

The staff at Bucuti & Tara....what can I say? The staff is WONDERFUL!! From our amazing and funny first concierge, to Anchie at the towel hut who found my husband's hat in with the towels in the laundry, to everyone who helped us when I had a medical emergency. Isobel, the concierge, assisted my husband in making calls to arrange where I would be going. Rik, the resort manager, even drove us to the hospital and arranged to have us picked up at the end of the visit. They made every effort to assist us during that unpleasant episode and we greatly appreciated it. When we arrived back at the resort, the kitchen contacted us to see what we wanted to eat since we missed all meals that day. The staff made what would have been a challenging experienc a much less stressful one and we are thankful.

Needless to say, the rest of the week was a quiet and relaxing one with reading, walking on the beach and swimming, plus an hour of yoga on the beach on Friday morning. That was a lovely way to end the week - an hour of stretching and mindfulness, on the beach.

All in all, this is a wonderful place to relax and reconnect and I hands down agree that this is the number ! hotel in Aruba! Aruba is definitely one happy island and they go to great lengths to help you achieve the same happiness. Thank YOU!

Room Tip: Our room was on the third floor of the Tara suites; all rooms here overlook the Caribbean - no bad rooms at all
