With Atlantis Submarines you'll take an exciting voyage to depths of 130 feet below the Caribbean Sea. This fun and educational tour brings you to the Barcadera Reef and different shipwrecks. The submarine is the largest passenger submarine fleet in the world, US Coast Guard Certified and fully air-conditioned. The Seaworld Explorer is the perfect tour for all ages. Sit in air-conditioned comfort, 5 feet below the surface, in this spacious semi-submarine developed in Australia for use on the Great Barrier Reef. See hundreds of tropical fish and coral formations at the WWII German shipwreck Antilla and Arashi Reef.

We really liked this-we were a group with people from age 10 to 73 and everyone loved it. I was so impressed with how organized everything was, especially how they transfer passengers from the sub onto the boat to take you back to shore, while getting the people from the boat onto the sub. Guides were very good about pointing stuff out. We toured over a reef and saw SO many beautiful tropical fish, and three shipwrecks (which was a huge hit with my 10 year old son!) I can now see why people dive-it's amazing down there. Very cool to be in an actual sub-the gauge was interesting to see how far down you are, and when we resurfaced it was a lot of fun to see. Very different experience. They do give each side of the sub several turns to see the reef.

Never did a sub tour ut was like a moving aquarium type view. I didn't feel confined so I think it is okay for anyone anxious. The shipwrecks were cool, and we were able to see a sea turtle as well as a baracuda. There were so many fish! Luckily they have a card that helps you navigate who is who. The tour was def different, and worth the money if you are on the fence due to that. I will say, our group only filled one side of the sub, so we had a window view the whole time, in larger groups they have to keep taking turns as the sub only gets views one side at a time. So we lucked out, I would say def call or stop by the atlantis shop and find out if the group is smaller maybe.

The ride by glass covered shuttle out to meet was very interesting, especially when the submarine suddenly surfaced not far from us. Much to my surprise this is a real submarine. The craft was designed and built for this purpose we were treated to the sites of beautiful fish, coral and reefs and even sunken ships all from the air conditioned comfort of the port hole. We actually reached depths of over 150' and stayed submerged for 40 minutes. The guide was very good and very informative and the conditions were relatively roomy and comfortable. We all felt very safe and the staff says there is sufficient air-supply for the craft for 48 hrs in case of emergency. The cost of $105 was well worth the trip and frankly I would have paid much more for the experience. This was easily the most interesting and fun excursion I have ever been on in my various trips to exotic destinations and I cannot recommend it more highly. Give Atlantis Submarine a try...I can assure you you will enjoy it and never forget the experience.

What an amazing time!!!! We received a short introduction at the pier before loading onto a shuttle boat out to the submarine. On the shuttle we received another safety briefing and description of the sites along the shoreline. When we reached the boarding location the sub came to the surface which was dramatic and got your adrenaline pumping. The crew then organized the disembarkation of the previous group and our boarding process.

The submarine was awesome! The entire experience which left you jaw dropping from the scenery and sea life we saw to the depth gauge you were able to watch just made the experience something to be remembered always!!!!

The final step of watching the sun submerge as we pulled away was nothing short of a movie!!!!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ACTIVITY!!!! Worth every penny!!!!

It was interesting. No good photos due to glass. First time in submarine went down 145 feet. Awesome. Only saw little fish. It was a once in life time experience. Would we do again ...No...Waited along time to get on boat..then was long time on boat to board submarine.
