We had a hard time finding an "authentic" Dutch restaurant, and this place was as close as we could get to what we were looking for. I guess they're an official purveyor of Smit & Dorlas coffee. We went in for lunch and it was a cute, quaint little cafe. Everyone in there was a local except for us, and no one spoke English but we got by just fine. We got a tuna salad each, coffees and their signature cake. The tuna salad was simple but surprisingly good and refreshing. The coffees were solid and the cake was OK. We would definitely go back if ever in Aruba again.

A good place to get your daily fix. For those of you who are used to having a decent latte in the morning this is the place to visit. Quite inexpensive as well. Four of us had brunch (speciality coffees, salads, sandwiches) and it came up to USD$31.

When only went here once - didn't feel the need to repeat it because the coffee was mediocre by Australian standards. But the traditional cashew nut cake was very interesting (but super sweet), as were the ayacas (also a bit sweet, even though they are a savoury meat dish much like tamales.

A bit of Dutch ole world charm. The beautiful family pictures on the wall and the elegant cane furniture make a charming vignette.
The quiche and coffee were delicious.
