Since we stayed at the hotel, we had access to the island. Really was great experience. They separate into family and "adult only" sides. The flamingos are fun to feed.
The ride was about ten minutes.

This island was probably my favorite part of Aruba. It is honestly breathtaking! The flamingos are just a bonus honestly, Renaissance maintains the island so well. Being on the island makes you feel like you're on a completely different world.

The restaurant on the island is pretty nice and the menu has a broad variety of choices so there should be something for everyone. The water sport place they have is also offers many different activities and rents out ample of equipment.

If you want to visit this island I would highly recommend you to stay at the Renaissance hotel like we did, I believe otherwise it would be $100 for a day pass which isn't even guaranteed to be available on the day you would like to visit. Also I never saw anyone on the island that wasn't staying at the Renaissance.

This island is simply paradise! Beaches, ocean and nature so beautiful, fantastic to enjoy from the natural shade of the many palm trees. Not to forget the famous flamingos plus other wildlife like beautiful birds, fish or iguanas.

Our family so enjoyed spending time on Renaiisance Island. We don't like crowded beaches and all the noise from the jet skis and other public venues. This was a nice quiet, clean beach just a short boat ride from the hotel. Much easier than our excursions to other beaches around the island.

Despite having to get to the counter extremely early to wait for tickets, the trip was a success. From the flamingos to the sweetest wait staff (Margareth), everything about the island was wonderful and worth the wait!
