Spend the day in St Johns and had lunch here, great seat on the outside balcony which was shaded but gave you the opportunity to people watch the locals as you eat. Good selection of food , and we had Caesar salad with chicken, lobster salad and jerk chicken sandwich which all the family loved, as well as a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Great and friendly service, give it a try!

After reading all the great reviews we we were so excited to try this place. However the whole experience sucked. Our waitress was not friendly. Ordered a drink and was looking at the menu to see what to try. Finished my drink and she never came back to check on us. We got up, paid for our drinks and left.

We wanted to grab an authentic meal made by the locals and Hemingways had the best reviews so we decided to give it a shot.
Anna warmly greeted us the moment we walked in. The Hemingways rum punch had a little kick to it, so naturally we ordered 4. My boyfriend is vegan and absolutely loved the ducana. I, meat eater, thoroughly enjoyed the saltfish and chopup.
Next time we're in town, we will go back for more great service and food!

I have been here a few times for lunch and dinner. It's great for date night or a casual meet-up with friends. The food has been consistently good, and the prices are fair. The service is pretty good as well.

Anna Maria and her team are so amazing we came back twice. The food was delicious and the personal touches of having the owner stop by your table were appreciated. If you haven't had her blueberry bread pudding you haven't lived. We tried the burger (excellent) and pumpkin soup (perfectly creamy). With the table we tried most of the cocktails which were all excellent. My favorite was the non-alcoholic strawberry lime mashup which was refreshing and a needed break from all of the vacation drinking. If you are looking for an authentic Antiguan experience with amazing and friendly locals you can't go wrong with Hemmingways. We hope to have the chance to go back!
