Owner description: On the far-eastern coast, you'll find coral reefs in water so shallow that you can actually walk out to them. Along the beach are the Long Bay Hotel and the rambling Allegro Resort Pineapple Beach.

awesome beach do not buy at the bar. owner is an older gentleman who is very rude and drunk. Curses at his patrons many people left. He recently had an argument with a young man and curse him out. The young man was polite and the owner cursed him out. Turned out the young man was having dinner with the prime minister the next night. DO NOT SUPPORT BRING YOUR OWN BEER or support others not the bar closest to the parking lot

We have been here before and it never disappoints. Soft golden sand, the sea has amazing shades of blue. Drop/pick up from taxi by the beach. Beach shack for drinks is just across the grass. Sunbeds and parasols for hire. Left of beach a few small shops. For snorkelling we prefer the right of beach. Easy to enter the sea, there were plenty of fish to see, and I enjoyed exploring away from the rocks where I found various channels and a fairly deep drop off. I saw Lion fish, Barracuda Needlefish, Grunts, trunk fish, butterfly and blue tangs. We shared a taxi from outside cruise port with another couple which cost $16 each return, well worth it.

Due to many beaches being closed after a sea quake causing rogue waves and undertows beyond safe tolerances we grabbed a taxi after the cruise ship cancelled all excursions
We went with 3 other couples sharing the ride
They were standing at the Tourist office looking for a way to get to the beach so we linked up randomly with an Irish and German couple we also tag teamed the umbrella and chair person to get a better deal
We were lucky we decided quickly because with Long Bay being on the far ATLANTIC side was one of the only beaches open it got crowded but acceptable load
We snorkeled in shallow waters during the afternoon low tide. It was fair not great but easy access for beginners
The taxi guide was paid half going and half once the return was completed so no issues and no worries about getting back to the ship on time
All in all an enjoyable nice sandy beach w nice lov
Call and beach foods.

Pleasant beach with water sports available. We walked right as you enter the beach towards the rocks. As you enter the crystal clear sea lots of little fish swim around your ankles. Great snorkelling and whilst about waist deep a large barracuda gracefully swam by us. Had a great time here.

This beach was a short walk from the Verandha resort or right in front of the Pineapple Resort. Well maintained. Long enough to get a nice beach walk which I love. Beautiful views. You can catch rides here for different trips.
