We had the most wonderful holiday week in Rory's retreat . Valerie and Richard were extremely helpful and welcomed us with a delicious Devonshire cream tea. Newly renovated and stylishly furnished the house invites you with a marvellous view to the open sea to enjoy the peace and silence to absolutely relax.
We should have booked a week longer.
Thanks to you, Valerie and Richard and we do hope to come again.
Lovely clean and relaxing accommodation would definitely recommend anyone to stay anď would visit again
What a fantastic place, a quiet setting with fantastic views down to the sea.
Friendly owners gave a warm welcom but never bothered us.
Everything was there and it wanted for nothing, a lovely clean and fresh accommodation .
The only down side of the visit was that we couldn’t stay any longer,
Immaculate accommodation - modern, light, peaceful, with sea view. A few steps to negotiate. Otherwise perfect, really. Hosts very friendly and obliging. Would sincerely recommend .
This is a belated review for our Easter stay.
The weather may have tried to dampen the weekend, but spirits were lifted from the minute we met Richard and were shown around Rory’s Retreat.
An absolute gem of a place, with everything you could need for a short peaceful break, and stunning views to boot.
Valerie’s welcoming cream tea and bottle of Prosecco was a reflection of how homely RR and the hosts are.
Stoke Fleming also has a lovely restaurant and pub within a 5 minute walk, and was a great base for early morning dog walks , before setting of to visit the beautiful south Devon coast.
We look forward to going back - Becky, Rich and Daisy Dog
