We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids who had booked the deluxe lagoon room. (Room 1213) We arrived quite early for check in thinking we would have to wait for our rooms. We were delighted when we were told our room was ready. We were very quickly escorted to our room after a refreshing drink on arrival and the room was everything we hoped for and more. The staff were very attentive and attention to detail to make sure our stay was perfect. Im a chef and i must say the food served in suku and Eight degree south was very good and room service too! Not forgetting kids dine for free!! During my stay i lost my flight itinerary, i emailed the reservation team if they could print for me. Within 2 hours they replied my email and said they have forwarded my email to front desk and shortly after the front desk staff send the itinerary to my room. I must say this is one of my best beach holidays ever. Top notch service!! Highly recommended !!

When we arrived we were greeted by name and 'welcome back'. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble from bringing us milk for our tea late at night to explaining the working of the equipment.
The hotel is beautifully appointed and totally relaxing catering for groups, couples and singles, those who want to active, out and about, as well as those who want to relax and chill out by the pools - as we did.
What ever you do you should not miss afternoon tea or cocktails at sunset - indulge yourself - we did.

I would recommend Conrad Bali to anyone looking for excellence. The staff are outstanding, the restaurants and bars are world class and the position, amenities and grounds are a delight. I stayed at the property approximately 22 times, so that should speak for itself.

The conrad bali is a great place to stay for a relaxing holiday but there are some things that will stop us from staying there again and this is based solely on our personal preferences.
The staff our lovely, always welcoming with a smile but the reception staff could be a bit friendlier as they set the scene due to being first point of contact upon arrival.
The resort is HUGE so be prepared to walk in the heat and humidity to get to where you want to go.
The pool water is always warm -too warm. Not refreshing at all on a hot day.
The location is away from the main shops and restaurants but is a 5 min easy walk to a legit money changer (always had the best rate around) and a well stocked supermarket.
The billard table is ancient and needs to be updated. The cues are all worn down .
You need to pay to play tennis - honestly if you are staying at a 5 star resort it should be complimentary!
A 5 star resort attracts not so nice people who think they have a right to do their own thing without regard to others. This is no fault of the resort but will happen due to the luxurious nature of conrad bali.
The positives are that the view from the lobby is AMAZING! the rooms are clean and refreshed every day(morning and evening if needed) , water and towels are provided pool side as soon as you sit down . The breakfast is well worth it. The variety is ample but it does get crowded but things seem to move smoothly.
We would prefer to stay somewhere closer to the main part of kuta/ seminyak as we had four days at seminyak and found it more convenient for shopping and eating.
It is a great place to stay if you dont mind being away from everything and can put up with other guests that might not understand or appreciate that a smile can make all the difference -especially when you greet them with a smile ☺

We had our wedding at Infinity Chapel at Conrad Bali. Stayed here for 2 nights and the room was up to Conrad’s standard. Location is also nice even though it’s a bit far from the downtown, some good restaurants are around. The chapel was awesome and we really enjoyed our wedding ceremony here like what we dreamt of. Room was also very nice with spacious bathroom. The breakfast was very good with lots of varieties.

However, there were some shortcomings such as the shower was really confusing, not matter where we turned it to, it only poured warm (a bit hot actually) water. Most of the staff did not greet us or smile when we passed through them; not like we were asking for it, but other 4-5 stars hotels’ staff have better attitude. The hotel also did not provide free internet; with such rate, the internet should have been complimentary. Last, the receptionist should have been more aware of where people were queuing and act strictly. There was a case where there were only 2 receptionist and about 7 guests lined up to check out, we were second in line. All guests are lined up at the left side of the receptionist and suddenly a guy moved to the right receptionist to check out and was welcomed by the receptionist. The most front guest moved to the left receptionist a minute later and complained how the guy cut in the line, but right receptionist said nothing, the left one just said a brief sorry without any sincere attitude and just continued their work.

Still, overall we enjoyed our wedding event and stay in Conrad.

Note: the beach was ok for water sport, but if you are looking for beautiful beach, Benoa is not the place.
