We stayed at Telford Manor for my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary.
The whole process of booking through to arrival was great. When we got into the house we were blown away with size and character of the house. The dinning table was set beautifully along with two tables laden with goodies for kids and adults. Champagne, choc , sweets .. Owners were so generous.
The downstairs disco area was such a hit with us all , particularly the kids .
Cant recommend this house highly enough and we all cant wait to go back
Stayed here last week for two nights with visiting family from America. 21 of us ranging from 20 months up to 65 years. There are plenty of bedrooms and there good sizes so no one feels cramped. It was great to be able to all sit and eat at one time with the large dining room and two kitchens helps ease the strain of cooking for so many.
The boogie cellar was great for adults when children were sleeping and the weather was good so the outside area was nice to sit out while kids played.
The downside would be the showers weren’t great and no baths for the younger kids. And the general cleanliness of the house wasn’t as high as I would have hoped.
Also there was an issue with the fire door upstairs it wouldn’t shut properly and we had to try and put a brush behind it outside so the young children didn’t get out as it was easily pushed and wide open which was a security issue!!
Great accommodation for all sizes of groups.
Our group changed size over the weekend as people came and went. But the atmosphere was always good as the living and dining rooms were great for groups to congregate.
We could come and go as we pleased with takeaways and a co-op very well situated nearby.
Plenty of parking available, WiFi not great for large groups but does encourage you to interact with everyone.
Great house for hide and seek as well which was not played by children it was 24-35 year olds
Great communication the whole way through the experience. So book it before it's all booked up
