the park was only partly opened, and at least gave us a spooky taste of this unique region, although it was disappointing not to see any lava.

After all the eruptions this year it is now partially open. There are still some areas closed but there is enough open to warrant a visit. Have been here many times and it interesting to see how much devastation this eruption caused. The crater has collapsed and is now almost 30 times its previous size according to Park Rangers. Hard to imagine getting any closer to nature than here.

Took the day off and went here and saw giant sinkholes that are incredible and surreal. Go here and get amazed.

Great visit to the park, staff very helpful despite all the closed trails. They have done a great job getting things back open. Thanks for all you have done and looking forward to the next trip

Even though many of the trails are closed now (for good safety reasons with the recent eruption) we did the small loop through the Sulphur springs to the caldera- was an incredible view.
